This thesis describes some recent installation and improvements of the SMILETRAPII Penning trap mass spectrometer which aim is to get higher precision mass measurements about 10-11 .The main work in this thesis is stallation and debugging of higher precision penning Trap which include TOFMCP detector, transport of beam, ion cooling in pretrap, detecting of ion cyclotron frequency, constant temperature of superconduct magnet. Four software about ion beam optimization system, main controller program in pretrap, controlling program in pretrap, pressure regulation and stabilizer program has been performed. Testing result indicate that these software is good for higher precision penning Trap. The cooling of ion is very important to reduce the uncertainty of the mass measurement, so a few of cooling methods are introduced and tested by many experiments. The temperature of the precision trap has an big influence on the superconductive magnet and thus makes the cyclotron frequency of the trapped ions shift. A new more stable regulation system of the trap temperature is used and keep the temperature stable at±0.002℃. The higher charge state of the measured ions can reach the higher precision of the mass measurement, and therefore an updated Stockholm-EBIT is being setup. The energy of the electron beam will reach to 250keV from 30keV, and thus the atom can be ionized to the higher charge state even naked. After these improvements , the expected precision of the mass measurement of 10-11 will be gotten in the future.
