Ordered mesoporous / microprous solids are of interest in areas such as catalysis, sensors, size- and shape-selective separation media, adsorbents and scaffolds for composite materials synthesis. Therefore, microfabrication will be a key technology in providing novel interfacial functions on material surfaces. Conductive polymers and their hybrid materials have aroused many interests, and their ordered structured films are of paramount importance.In this paper, we have successfully fabricated the honeycomb structured films of PANI-DBSA, PANI-DBSA/FeO MEH-PPV by a simply self-assembly method in moisture atmosphere. And their conductive, magnetic, and photonic properties are investigated in detail, respectively.1. 4 - dodecylbenzenesulfonic acid (DBSA) - doped polyaniline (PANI) honeycomb structured film is successfully fabricated by water assisted self-assembly method for the first time. In the humidity atmosphere, ordered honeycomb structure can be well fabricated. By controlling the relative humidity in the atmosphere and concentration of the conducting polymer respectively, different morphology of the honeycomb structure can be obtained. The driving force of this self-assembly procedure is capillary force and the water droplet plays the role as template. Furthermore, the honeycomb structured film of PANI-DBSA is proved to be electro-active and shows the semi-conducting properties in the appropriate doping state. The structures fabricated are expected to be attractive candidates to manipulate photons in 3D crystals. The ability to make 3D ordered macro-porous structures with conducting polymers should lead to new applications in electronic and electrochromic devices.2. Water assisted method is applied to fabricated honeycomb structured PANI-DBSA/Fe3O4 film. The morphology is characterized by the Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) and Transmission Electronic Microscopy (TEM). PANI-DBSA can be clearly indexed on the wall of the pore through the AFM observation, while the magnetic particles can be well observed from the TEM images with the uniform distribution.3. Poly(2-methoxy-5-(2' -ethyl-hexloxy)-p-phenylene-vinylene)(MEH-PPV) is proved to be a very interesting material because of its high photoluminescence (PL) efficiency. Ordered honeycomb structure film of MEH-PPV is obtained by self-assembly method through water droplet template, the morphologies of both atomic force microscope (AFM) andconfocal fluorescent microscope are given, and the fluorescent properties are studied in detail. It was found by fluorescence spectra that the honeycomb structure film from water-assisted fabrication keeps good photoluminescence.
