The structure and the reactivity of coal, as the important basic problem in development of new technology of the coal clean conversion and optimized usage and in reforming the present technology, become more and more important. At the same time, it is researched and applied by the different methods. For example, basing on the knowledge of the structure and constitutes of coal, it is an important practice that the pyrolysis reactivity in plasma is researched. In this paper, as to important effect of coal performance to the pyrolysis mechanism, coking mechanism and reactive product in the processing of pyrolysising coal to produce acetylene in plasma, a high extraction rate system is developed. The extraction system is composed of two steps -the cyclohexanone extraction with reflux and CS2-NMP mixed solvent extraction with the help of ultrasonic. The results show that coal of different degree of coalification have high extraction rate with this solvent system. On the basis, the coal chemical group composition and coal six composition separated method are put forward in this research. The preliminary studies of different kinds of coal with chemical group composition are made in this research also.Besides above, the author studied the mixture state of coal in the plasma jet by the cool model of diesel oil and air, analyzed and selected the feeding style of the plasma reactor. At the same time, as to the characteristic of temperature, jet velocity and high gradient of pressure field in the plasma reactor, the author put forward the double reaction zone model of high temperature and middle temperature, thus the research of plasma reactor is simplified.On the base of the coal chemical group composition, the research of mixture between the coal powder and plasma jet, double reaction zone model of plasma reactor, the author have made a lot of research on the reaction influencing factor in the hot plasma, reaction product, residue and cokes, put forward the artificial free radical reaction mechanism of coal in the high temperature zone and the free radical reaction mechanism of coal in the middle temperature zone, analyzed all kinds of factors to theinner coking of coal in the plasma reactor, characterized the cokes by XRD and SEM, discussed the coking mechanism of coal in the plasma reactor, explained the coking phenomenon of coal in the plasma reactor during the processing of pyrolysis of coal to acetylene, put forward the method to eliminate the coke by feeding different particle size coal.On the base of research on the direct pyrolysis of coal to acetylene in plasma, the author put forward two indirect pyrolysis of coal to acetylene combinative echnics-the combination technics of coal quick pyrolysis and plasma pyrolysis of coal to acetylene, the combination technics of coal continuous coking and plasma pyrolysis of coal to acetylene. By the above research, the following results are got. 1. The research on the coal two-step extraction(1) The coal soluble system is the premise and key to research of the coal chemical group composition. The optimization of soluble system includes the selection of solvent, the combination style of solvent and the extraction style of solvent etc. We need to consider the high extraction rate, the recovery of solvent, the generaladaptability, facility, accuracy and quickness.(2) The better coal soluble system is fractional extraction by the use of the combination of cyclohexanone and CS2-NMP(l:l,v/v). At first, the coal is extracted continuously with reflux by cyclohexanone. Then the residual coal is extracted discontinuously by CS2-NMP(l:l,v/v) with the help of ultrasonic wave at room temperature.(3) The quantization parameter, relative extraction rate, is put forward in the research of coal dissolubility.
