The present dissertation mainly deals with taxonomy on Blattellidae from China, which includes the brief history on Blattaria, the history and the present situation on Blattellidae, morphology, phylogenetic analysis and taxonomy. All the morphological terminologies used in this paper follows those of Bruijning (1947) and Roth (2003).The cladistic analysis was run in PAUP* 4.0b10, Windows Edition (Swofford 2002). The ingroup includes 19 Chinese genera of the family Blattellidae, and Polyphyga Brulle,1853 were selected as outgroup. The results based on the strict consensus tree are: 1) Blattellidae is not a monophyly but a paraphyly and Anaplectinae should be promoted to family level, instead of a subfamily of Blattellidae;2) In the cladogram, Pseudophyllodromiinae and Blattellinae is a sister group;3) All genera belonging to Pseudophyllodromiinae and Blattellinae, get together, respectively, generally congruent with used system. In present paper, 125 species of 19 genera, belonging to 3 subfamilies, from China were diagnosed, of which 38 species are new to science, 2 genera and 9 species are recorded for the first time from China, 1 genus and 3 species are new synonyms, and 1 new combination is proposed. The main morphological characters and male genitalia of all new species and the examined species are illustrated. At the end of paper, a checklist of Blattellidae from China is proposed. They are listed as follows:The new taxa, new records to Chinese fauna, new synonyms and new combination are listed as follows:New species: Blattella fujianana, sp. nov., Jacobsonina xui, sp. nov., Jacobsonina producta, sp. nov., Jacobsonina arca, sp. nov., Jacobsonina tortuosa, sp. nov., Hemithyrsocera hainanana, sp. nov., Hemithyrsocera complexa, sp. nov., Hemithyrsocera brevis, sp. nov., Scalida quardrispinata, sp. nov., Scalida pyrrhocephala, sp. nov., Scalida normalis, sp. nov., Neoloboptera xiangana, sp. nov., Symploce jinxiuensis, sp. nov., Symploce paramarginata, sp. nov., Episymploce liui, sp. nov., Episymploce tianpingensis, sp. nov., Episymploce jianyangana, sp. nov., Episymploce bicolor, sp. nov., Episymploce brevis, sp. nov., Allacta xizangensis, sp. nov., Sorineuchora bimaculata, sp. nov., Shelfordina hexiensis, sp. nov., Lupparia spinea, sp. nov., Lupparia striolata, sp. nov., Lupparia circinata, sp. nov., Lupparia pala, sp. nov., Lupparia dissecta, sp. nov., Margattea quadridentata, sp. nov., Margattea paralimbata, sp. nov., Margattea producta, sp. nov., Margattea multipunctata, sp. nov., Margattea angusta, sp. nov., Margattea mckittrickae, sp. nov., Margattea minuta, sp. nov., Margattea concava, sp. nov., Margattea variata, sp. nov., Margattea rothi, sp. nov., Margattea huapingensis, sp.nov..Species published by author: Anaplectoidea cylindrica Wang et Feng, Anaplectoidea spikya Wang et Feng, Episymploce daozheni Wang et Feng, Chorisoserrata biceps Wang et Feng.New generic records: Shelfordina Hebard, n. rec.
