First of all, the current researches of the high temperature moire interferometry techniques were reviewed and discussed in detail. The grating replicating technique was improved to the temperature of 200 °C for the first time. The interlaminar curing shear strains of C/BMI complex-ply laminate were obtained successfully by the application of the above technique.By using of the grating replicating technique at high temperature, the thermostrains of the solder joints of the advanced BGA package and the distribution of the effective coefficients of temperature expansion ( CTE ) of the package's surface were obtained at the temperature of 160℃ for the first time. The curved surface deformed grating replicating technique was proposed and achieved for the first time. This technique combined with the high temperature resistant gratings and moire interferometry was applied successfully in the measurement of the creep strains of the high temperature vapor pipe in situ of the power plant. The experimental results were valuable for the evaluation of the residual life of the high temperature vapor pipes of the power plant. The residual welding strains in the thermo-affected area of laser welding were obtained for the first time by the application of the high temperature resistant zero thickness gratings and moire interferometry technique. The experimental results were very useful for the quality control and the process parameters optimization of laser welding.
