PDP industry development makes that study on luminescence material focus on PDP phosphor,. Accurate and reliable analysis data about spectrum character is the foundation of luminescence material study. Analyzed essential structure of spectrum analysis system of international, designed VUV excitation with 30W deuterium lamp and emission spectrum analysis system. The analysis technology about PDP phosphors parameters such as emission spectrum, excitation spectrum, relative brightness under VUV excitation is first studied systemically in our country. One fluorescence spectrometer based on photomultiplier and another based on photoelectric diode array is designed. Detailed analysis on C-T structure which is universal presently is done. Weak spectrum signal measurement technology under weak excitation source conditions is solved. A new structure electrometer is developed by self. The noise performance of the electrometer is analyzed in detail and conclude that the input current noise is main factor on noise of the electrometer. A photoelectric diode array driver based on CPLD is designed , a driving method in which changing gain in one spectrum frame is brought forward. Irradiance calibration method and data processing method in PDP phosphors spectrum analysis technology is researched. The factor effect on CIE coordinates error is analyzed, system error caused by standard source transfer is argued and the background signal subtraction method is brought forward. The repeatability error caused by random noise is also analyzed. Two order polynomial fit method to calibrate error is put forward. The result of VUV excitation spectrum is got which identical to those in international reports. A lot of measurement to PDP phosphors spectrum character is done ,the phosphors for test comes from 863 support project "study on new PDP phosphors "of excitation state lab of Changchun Institute of Optics and fine Mechanics the comparison to those in international reports indicates that the study in the article achieves a approving result.
