For the program of the Space Solar Telescope of China National Observatories (SST) and other possible space astronomical programs, in which the electronic equipment will face with the damage-producing space radiations, our research concentrates on the radiation damages of CCDs for astronomical use in space mission. A new method, the stable defect method, is established to evaluate the displacement damage by energetic protons on CCDs. Based on the theory of the energetic particles' stopping in solids the initial vacancy distribution in CCD is computed with Monte-Carlo method. And with the help of the experimental results acquired by Janesick et al, the generating rate of stable defects is computed. Then, the degradation of CTE and dark currents of CCD can be evaluated. After that, the CCD damage by ionization effects is discussed. And according to the computation of the radiation doses under different thickness of shielding for SST, the shielding design for the CCDs used on SST is suggested and the CTE and dark currents of these CCDs after 3yrs on orbit are deduced with our stable defect method. And in order to evaluate the radiation damage by radiation experiments, the evaluation method for CCDs is discussed and evaluated, and based on it, the Astronomical Detector Evaluation Laboratory of the National Astronomical Observatories of China is established.
