The paper is the thesis of the author submitted to Fujian Agricultural and Forestry University in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Doctor in Agronooy.The paper deals w!th the systeeatic studies on the subfamily opiinae Cresson of the family Braconidae(Hymenoptera)from China.It comprises two parts,namely general account and systematic account. In the general account,which Is divided into five chapters———一the taxonomic history,morphology,biology and ecology,biological control and prospect for application,and methods for collecting,identifying and preserving the specimens are reviewed. In the systematic account,11 genera and 100 spedes are recognized from China,including 83 new species and 3 species that are recorded the first timmfromChlna.Keysareglventogenera,subgeneraandspecleslnthepaper. Under each genus,,subgenus and spedes,its synonym,diagnostic characters, distribution and biology are reviewed and discussed.All species treated in the paper are described and illustrated fully except a few species that are hot 8y811巴b1o. After the systematic account,theliteraturecitedinthepaperislisted. Indices to Chinese and scientific names of the spedes are also given. Finally,a list of the known Chinese genera and species of the subfamily opiinae with their distribution is provided.In the paper 288 SEM photos and 57 wing figures are also provided.
