Land is a special productive factor. The land-value has been an important means for the macroeconomic regulation with the development of the market economy in our country. The intensive land use is a basic way to protect land resource and reasonably allocate urban land, and a requirement also for the sustainable development in the process of urbanization. The study of urban land-value spatial distribution and evolvement rule, and the evaluation of intensive land use, and the relation study of land-value and intensive land use have been important task in future. These studies will provide basic scientific data for land management and the city development planning. The study results will lead city development in an efficient, sustainable and healthy direction. According to the existing problems in the land-value spatial distribution and intensive land use, the paper proposes to study the land-value spatial distribution characteristics and the formation cause based on GIS technique; and evaluate the intensive land use by integrating GIS technique and special evaluating model; and analyze the relationship between land-value and intensive use in order to realize the affecting factors. The main study contents and innovations are as follows:(1) Design and construct a database of urban land-value and intensive use according to the system of study object, solve the update difficulty of the changing land-value and intensive use information, and implement integrative management and transformation of spatial data and attribute data in order to private the basic data with high quality for the study of land-value and intensive land use.(2) Apply spatial analysis technique in the study of urban land value. The sample data is analyzed with integrating exploratory spatial data analysis method and geostatistics method and construct digital land value model in order to efficiently obtain spatial land-value distribution and changing rule.(3) Select evaluation factors and construct factor system after analyzing the standard about intensive urban land use. Propose a scheme integrating GIS and special evaluation model and form and try to construct an integrative model by integrating multi-factor synthetical evaluation method and hierarchical cluster analysis method. Apply this integrative model on the industrial and residential land, and analyze the result of intensive use and influence factors in order to instruct intensive land use in the study area.(4) A positive correlation is found by analyzing relation between land-value and intensive land use level. We propose that land-value should be fully used to adjust the amount of land use, input and utilized level, and utilized benefit in order to promote the intensive land use.
