| Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of spinal fine tuning manipulation combined with traction and simple traction in the treatment of Cervical spondylotic radiculopathy(CSR),and to provide a new feasible scheme and experimental data support for the clinical treatment of CSR.Methods: A total of 72 patients with cervical spondylotic radiculopathy who came to Longhua Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from October 2020 to February 2021 were randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 36 patients in each group. The observation group was given spinal fine-tuning manipulation combined with traction treatment, while the control group was given traction treatment alone.Patients in both groups were treated twice a week for a total of 8 times. The scores of symptoms and signs,VAS score,NDI score, cervical curvature, arch depth and intervertebral height indexes were observed and recorded in both groups. The improvement degree of each index and clinical efficacy of the two groups were compared, and the data were analyze by SPSS 21.0.Results:1.A total of 72 patients were included in this study,of which 67 patients completed the treatment in this study,35 in the observation group and 32 in the control group, with a total of 5 cases of abscission, with a abscission rate of 6.94%.The two groups were comparable not only in general information(gender, age, disease course),symptom and sign scores,VAS score,NDI score, but also in cervical curvature, arch depth and intervertebral height index, with no statistically significant differences(P>0.05).2.After treatment,by comparing of indicators between the two groups, the score of symptom and sign,VAS and NDI in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, while cervical curvature and arch depth were higher than those in the control group,P<0.01 or P<0.05;All the observed indexes in both groups were significantly improved compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the improvement degree of observation group was significantly better than that of control group(P<0.05).3.After treatment, there was no difference in C3-C4,C4-C5,C5-C6,and C6-C7 intervertebral height index between the two groups,P>0.05;The C3-C4,C4-C5 and C5-C6 intervertebral height indexes in both groups were significantly higher than before treatment(P<0.05),while the intervertebral height indexes of C6-C7 in both groups had no significant change(P>0.05);Compared with the control group, the C3-C4,C4-C5 and C6-C7 intervertebral height index in the observation group increased after treatment than before.4.In the observation group,33(94.3%)cases were effective and 2(5.7%)cases were ineffective. In the control group,19(59.4%)cases were effective and 13(40.6%)cases were ineffective. The clinical efficacy of the two groups was significantly different(P<0.01).Conclusion:(1)Spinal fine-tuning manipulation combined with traction and traction alone in the treatment of patients with CSR can not only reduce symptom and sign scores,VAS score and NDI score, but also increase cervical curvature and arch depth, and improve C3-C4,C4-C5 and C5-C6 intervertebral height index, which has certain clinical efficacy.(2)The spinal fine-tuning manipulation combined with traction in the treatment of CSR has a more significant effect than traction alone in reducing symptom and sign scores,VAS scores,NDI scores, and increasing cervical curvature and arch depth. And the clinical effect is superior to traction alone.(3)Spinal fine-tuning manipulation in the treatment of CSR can reduce symptom and sign scores,VAS scores,NDI scores, and increase cervical curvature and arch depth, which has certain clinical efficacy. |
