Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Cervical Spondylopathy Of Radiculopathy With Wei Guikang’s Cervical Spine Manipulation Combined With Tongan Decoction

Objective: To investigate the mechanism and clinical value of Wechsler cervical vertebra manipulation combined with Tongan Decoction in the treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy by observing and comparing the differences in pain and functional improvement in patients with radiculopathy.Methods: In this study,30 patients with radicular cervical spondylosis were selected from January 2022 to December 2022 in the Department of Orthopedics,Ren ’ai Branch,the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine according to the nanbai standard.The observation was conducted by comparison before and after self-treatment.Wechsler cervical vertebra manipulation combined with Tongan Decoction was used for treatment,a total of 1 course of treatment(5treatments),the treatment lasted for 2 weeks.Manual treatment was performed every 2 days,30 min each time.The enrolled patients were evaluated by visual analog scale(VAS),cervical dysfunction index(NDI),Yasuhsu Tanaka Symptom Scale,and cervical motion in all directions at the set observation time point.The data were recorded and sorted out,and SPSS22.0 statistical software was used to analyze the above data.Results: A total of 33 cases meeting the inclusion criteria were included in this study,with 2 cases falling off during the period and 31 effective cases,including 10 males and 21 females.No significant differences were observed in gender,age,course of disease and other general data of enrolled patients(P>0.05),indicating that general data such as gender and age had little impact on the study.In terms of efficacy evaluation,VAS score,NDI index and Tanaka Symptom Scale score of Cervical Spondylosis were significantly different before and after treatment and 2 months after treatment(P<0.05).Except that the changes of cervical left-hand movement Angle before and after the third treatment were not statistically significant(P>0.05),the changes of cervical left-hand movement Angle before and after the first treatment,the comparison of the fifth treatment,and before and after the first treatment were statistically significant(P<0.05).The movement of other cervical vertebrae in all directions(anterior flexion,posterior extension,dextral rotation,left and right lateral flexion)was statistically significant before and after the first treatment,before and after the third treatment,before and after the fifth treatment,and before and after the first treatment(P<0.05).Conclusion:(1)The incidence of radiculotic cervical spondylosis was more common in middle-aged people.(2)Wechsler cervical spine manipulation combined with Tongan Decoction can improve cervical pain,dysfunction and quality of life in patients with radiculotic cervical spondylosis,and has a long-term maintenance effect on the improvement of symptoms.(3)Wechsler cervical vertebra manipulation combined with Tongan Decoction is a safe and effective treatment for radiculotic cervical spondylosis,which can be promoted and applied in the clinical treatment of CSR patients.
