Retrospective Analysis Of The Self-prescribed Shouhui Runchang Decoction In The Treatment Of Constipation Of Qi And Yin Deficiency Typ

Purpose:Through a retrospective analysis of the treatment of constipation of deficiency of both qi and yin with self-prepared Shouhui Runchang Decoction to explore the clinical efficacy.Exploring the composition and characteristics of this prescription in detail,and through the network pharmacology technology,the therapeutic effect of the self-prepared Shouhui Runchang Decoction on functional constipation was confirmed,the conclusion was reached.Providing a certain diagnosis and treatment plan for the treatment of constipation due to deficiency of both qi and yin in clinical practice.Material and method:Through retrospective analysis,80 patients with constipation of qi and yin deficiency who met the inclusion criteria were collected from the outpatient department of anorectal department of the Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from October 2021 to October 2022,and the general data of the patients,the changes in the score of constipation related symptoms before and after treatment,the changes in the score of TCM symptoms,the score of the self-rating scale of quality of life(PAC-QOL)of constipation patients were collected,and the safety analysis was carried out,SPSS27.0statistical software was used for analysis.The active ingredients and targets of the proposed Shouhui Runchang Decoction were retrieved by using the Traditional Chinese Medicine Systems Pharmacology Database and Analysis Platform(TCMSP)and the BATMAN-TCM platform(a Bioinformatics Analysis Tool for Molecular medicine of Traditional Chinese Medicine),and the Gene Cards database Obtain functional constipation related targets from the Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man(OMIM)database,and create drug disease target Wayne diagrams,protein protein interaction(PPI)networks,and disease drug target networks Enrichment analysis map of Gene Ontology(GO)and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG).Analyzing the results.Results:1.General data: 80 patients were included in the study,including 31 males and 49 females,with a ratio of 1:1.58.The average age was 51.15 ± 15.85 years old,and the average course of disease was 4.49±4.59 years.2.After comparison before and after treatment,the total effective rate of self-prepared Shouhui Runchang Decoction in treating constipation with deficiency of both qi and yin was88.75%.3.Self-made Shouhui Runchang Decoction can reduce the scores of constipation related symptoms,main symptoms of TCM and secondary symptoms of TCM,with statistical significance(p<0.01).4.Self-made Shouhui Runchang Decoction can reduce the score of the quality of life self-evaluation scale for constipation patients,with statistical significance(p<0.01).5.The self-made Shouhui Runchang Decoction can regulate constipation through 193 signal pathways through 262 core prediction targets.Conclusion:1.Self-made Shouhui Runchang Decoction can relieve the relevant clinical symptoms of constipation patients with deficiency of both qi and yin.2.Self-made Shouhui Runchang Decoction can improve the quality of life of constipation patients.3.According to the network pharmacology,the self-prepared Shouhui Tongbian Decoction can regulate constipation through multiple targets and multiple pathways.
