| Purpose:To analyze the relationship between frailty and anxiety in elderly inpatients, and the characteristics of the Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)syndrome of frailty accompanied by anxiety in elderly inpatients were explored by cluster analysis and factor analysis,in order to provide reference for clinic.Material and method:The elderly patients from the Hospital Affiliated to Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the inpatient Department of Liaoning Rehabilitation Center from January 2021 to December 2021 were collected.A total of 447 samples were selected according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The information was collected by means of questionnaire survey,Fried frailty phenotype,Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale, and TCM four-diagnosis information scale.Excel was used to establish the patient information database, and then the data was imported into SPSS 26.0.Cluster analysis and factor analysis were used to make statistics on the four diagnosis information,so as to explore the characteristics of TCM syndrome of the frailty with anxiety in the elderly inpatients.Results:1.Among the 447 elderly hospitalized patients,76.06% were frailty patients,15.21% were pre-frailty patients, and 8.73% were non-frailty patients.Spearman correlation analysis showed no correlation between elderly frailty and gender(P > 0.05),but there was a correlation between elderly frailty and age(P < 0.05),with higher incidence in older patients. There was a correlation with anxiety(P<0.05),and anxiety patients were more likely to suffer from frailty.2.Among the 340 elderly frailty patients,62.65% had anxiety and 37.35% did not.Correlation analysis showed that there was a correlation between the incidence of anxiety in elderly frailty patients and gender(P < 0.05),with a higher incidence in women. There was also a correlation between anxiety and age(P < 0.05),with higher incidence in older patients.3.In this study, the common symptoms of patients with frailty and anxiety in the following order: irritability, lumbar and knee soreness, nocturia, insomnia, palpitations, chest tightness, shortness of breath, phlegm, aversion to cold and limb coldness, rib discomfort, diarrhea, poor appetite, forgetfulness, dry mouth, and dry stool. The most common tongue manifestations were dark tongue, white greasy fur, pale tongue, red tongue, white fur, greasy white fur,and little fur.The most common pulse manifestations were string-like pulse, weak pulse, deep and rough pulse, thin and weak pulse, thin and rapid pulse, slippery pulse, and deep and thin pulse.4.By cluster analysis and factor analysis, the common symptoms of frailty and anxiety in elderly inpatients were summarized, which include Qi and blood deficiency syndrome, liver depression and spleen deficiency syndrome, phlegm stasis mutual blockage syndrome, liver and kidney yin deficiency syndrome, and heart and kidney yang deficiency syndrome.Conclusion:1.The occurrence of frailty in elderly hospitalized patients is correlated with age and anxiety, but not with gender.2.The incidence of anxiety in patients with elderly frailty is positively correlated with age and gender.3.The frailty and anxiety of elderly hospitalized patients are located in the five zang organs, with the liver, spleen and kidney as the key factors. The pathological factors involved are deficiency,qi,phlegm, dampness and blood stasis, which are the syndrome of deficiency and solid.4.The syndrome types of frailty with anxiety in elderly hospitalized patients are: qi and blood deficiency, liver depression and spleen deficiency, phlegm and blood stasis mutually blocking,liver-kidney Yin deficiency,heart-kidney Yang deficiency. |
