Analysis Of TCM Clinical Characteristics Of Patients With Chronic Insomni

Purpose: This topic collected chronic insomnia patients,analyzed the disease,age,gender,accompanying TCM symptoms,TCM syndromes,TCM constitution,insomnia anxiety degree and other clinical distribution characteristics,and explore the internal relationship between them,and to provide ideas for clinical syndrome differentiation treatment and prevention.Material and method: Collecting patients with other symptoms as the chief complaint accompanied by chronic insomnia or chronic insomnia as the chief complaint are collected.After screening,patients with scores ≥ 4 on the AIS are adopted.The questionnaire information of them is recorded into Excel 2019 table,and SPSS 26.0 software is used for statistical analysis,mainly using Frequency ratio,single factor ANOVA analysis,Pearson’s chi-squared test,Fisher exact test and other statistical methods.Results: The study showed that,in addition to chronic insomnia disorder,among the 404 patients,medical diseases are the most common,296 patients in total,and diseases of the ent are the least,9 patients in total.Depression syndrome is the most common disease in medical diseases,108 cases in total.There are 295 females and 109 males,young people accounted for the most,which is 44.80%.The most common symptom is fatigue,the rest simultaneous phenomenons are appetite,forgetfulness,irritability,depressed,stress,timidity,cold and so on.The AIS score of the elderly group is 9.51±3.44,so the elderly group have worse sleep quality than that in young group,P<0.05,the difference is significant.The adolescent group have worse sleep quality than the adolescent group,but P>0.05,the difference is not significant.The most common syndrome of TCM is syndrome of Liver Depression of the fire,155 patients in total,and young people is the most with this syndrome,a total of 85.People with Phlegm-heat internal disturbance syndrome and Yin-deficiency fire-excess syndrome have higher degree of insomnia.AIS score is 9.79±3.86 in patients with phlegm-heat internal disturbance syndrome and 9.18±4.20 in patients with Yin deficiency and fire-excess syndrome.In the degree of anxiety,the number of people with no anxiety is the highest,231,and the number of people with severe anxiety is the least,19.There is no difference in anxiety level between liver depression and fire and phlegm-heat internal disturbance,P>0.05.The syndromes of phlegm-heat and internal disturbance are the most in the people with peace and qi deficiency,which are 20 cases respectively.The syndrome of Liver Depression of the fire is the most in the people with Yang deficiency,Yin deficiency,phlegm-dampness,damp-heat,blood stasis,qi stagnation and characteristic quality,which are 44 cases,12 cases,12 cases,18 cases,7 cases,24 cases and 6 cases,respectively.The syndrome of Liver Depression of the fire is the most in the people with Yang deficiency,Yin deficiency,phlegm-dampness and damp-heat,P<0.05,the difference is significant.The syndrome of Yin deficiency and fire flourishing is the most in people with blood stasis,P<0.05,the difference is significant.Conclusion:Chronic insomnia has characteristics in different ages,genders,accompanying symptoms,TCM syndrome types,and TCM constitution distribution.And its accompanying diseases are distributed in internal,external,gynecological and ent departments.Patients with different syndrome types have differences in sleep quality and insomnia degree,and TCM syndrome types have certain correlation with TCM constitution.Female patients are more likely to suffer from chronic insomnia,young people are more likely to have sleep problems,and Liver Depression of the fire syndrome more.Chronic insomnia patients with the most syndrome is fatigue,the elderly sleep quality is worse,Phlegm-heat internal disturbance syndrome and Yin-deficiency fire-excess syndrome patients sleep quality is worse.Different levels of anxiety have nothing to do with the distribution of TCM syndrome types.The syndrome of Liver Depression of the fire in most people with physical constitution is the most,while the syndrome of Yin deficiency and fire flourishing in people with blood stasis is the most.TCM constitution and syndrome types have similarities and differences,so we should treat them dialectically.
