| Objective:By observing the efficacy of acupuncture in patients with acute gastrointestinal dysfunction secondary to multiple injuries with spleen deficiency and qi stagnation syndrome, this paper discusses the theoretical basis for acupuncture in the treatment of acute gastrointestinal dysfunction secondary to multiple injuries with spleen deficiency and qi stagnation syndrome. Methods:In strict accordance with the criteria for Inclusion and exclusion, patients admitted to the acute and critical care center of Hunan Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine between February 2022 and February2023 were included and met the certificate of acute gastrointestinal dysfunction secondary to multiple injuries with spleen deficiency and qi stagnation syndrome.Sixty-four injured patients were included and divided into acupuncture group and control group with 32 cases according to the random allocation method. The acupuncture group was supplemented with milliacupuncture plus basic Western medicine treatment, and the control group was treated with sham acupuncture plus Western basic medical treatment. In the acupuncture group,Zusanli Acupoint,Neiguan Acupoint,Zhongxuan Acupoint,Tianshu Acupoint and Shangjuxu Acupoint were taken, and the acupuncture was pierced once at an interval of 1 day,for a total of 7 days. Before and after treatment, the Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)clinical symptom score, efficacy of TCM symptoms, gastrointestinal function score, acute physiology and chronic health evaluation II(APACHE Ⅱ),bowel sounds and intra-abdominal pressure,C-reactive protein(CRP)and procalcitonin(PCT),length of ICU stay, fraction surviving and safety indexes were observed in the two groups.Results:1.The acupuncture group significantly improved TCM syndrome score, acute gastrointestinal injury score, bowel sounds,intra-abdominal pressure,CRP(P<0.01),and was significantly better than that of the conventional treatment group(P<0.01).2.The acupuncture group significantly improved the APACHE II score and PCT(P<0.01),which was better than that of the conventional treatment group(P<0.05).3.The acupuncture group was better than the control group in efficacy of TCM symptoms(P<0.05).4.There was no difference in 28-day survival between the two groups after treatment(P>0.05),but the acupuncture group was significantly smaller than that of the control group(P<0.01).Conclusion:On the basis of conventional treatment of Western medicine, acupuncture treatment of acute gastrointestinal dysfunction secondary to multiple injuries, spleen deficiency and qi stagnation syndrome, can improve TCM syndrome score, efficacy of TCM symptoms,APACHE II score, bowel sounds,intra-abdominal pressure,PCT,CRP,and reduce the length of ICU stay. The efficacy is definite and worthy of clinical application. |
