Clinical Observation On The Efficacy And Recurrence Rate Of Bimin Tablets In Treating Allergic Rhinitis Of Lung Qi Deficiency And Cold Typ

Objective:Observe the clinical efficacy and recurrence rate of Bimin tablets in the treatment of allergic rhinitis(AR)of lung qi deficiency cold type;And preliminarily explore its mechanism of action.Methods: Sixty AR patients with lung qi deficiency and cold type who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group using statistical software SPSS26.0,with 30 cases in each group.The treatment group was treated with Bimin tablets,while the control group was treated with Yupingfeng granules for a total duration of 4 weeks;Both groups of subjects stopped taking Fluticasone propionate nasal spray for 3 weeks after admission,and Levocetirizine tablets for 1 week after admission.Record the nasal symptom score(TNSS)and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores of the two groups of subjects before and after treatment,and detect the EOS and ECP levels in the patient’s nasal secretions;Follow up patients with effective treatment and calculate the recurrence rate within 1 month and4 months after the end of treatment.Results:1.There was no statistically significant difference(P>0.05)between the two groups of subjects before treatment in terms of gender,age,course of disease,total score of TNSS,traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score,EOS grading of nasal secretions,and ECP level.The data between the two groups were balanced.2.After treatment,the total score of TNSS,traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score,EOS grading of nasal secretions,and ECP level in both groups were significantly improved compared to before treatment(P<0.05).However,the total score of TNSS,TCM syndrome score,EOS grading of nasal secretions,and ECP level in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group after treatment(P<0.05).3.The total effective rate of the treatment group was 93.10%,while the control group was79.31%.The clinical efficacy of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).4.Within one month after treatment,the recurrence rate in the treatment group was 7.41%,while in the control group it was 21.74%.There was no significant difference in the recurrence rate between the two groups(P>0.05);Within 4 months after treatment,the recurrence rate in the treatment group was 29.63%,compared to 60.87% in the control group,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05),indicating that Bimin Tablets have a better long-term therapeutic effect on lung qi deficiency cold type AR.Conclusion: Bimin Tablets can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of AR patients with lung qi deficiency and cold type,and its mechanism of action may be related to reducing the levels of EOS and ECP in nasal secretions,with good long-term efficacy.
