| Purpose:To observe the sleeping condition of the patients before and after treatment by applying "Sun Simiao thirteen ghost points"(hereinafter referred to as "Thirteen ghost points")to the patients with sleep disorder that caused by Qi deficiencies of heart and gall,so as to find an effective acupuncture method for improving the sleeping quality of the patients and the changes of emotional state caused by it,so as to provide clinical basis.Material and method:This study selected 60 patients with sleeping disorders who met the inclusion criteria in the encephalopathy K3 outpatient department of the Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of traditional Chinese medicine from September 2020 to September 2021.The patients were randomly divided into treatment group(needling thirteen ghost points)and control group(needling routine points),with 30 cases in each group. In addition to dialectical acupoints combined with Xinshu and Danshu, the treatment group selected Shuigou,Chengjiang,Shangxing,Yinbai,Daling and Shenmai in the thirteen ghost acupoints, and the control group selected Baihui,Shenmen,Sanyinjiao,Zhaohai,Shenmai and Anmian. The acupuncture was applied once a day,5 times a week, with an interval of 2 times,7 days for a course of treatment, with a total of four courses of treatment that cast 1 month. The above patients were evaluated by TCM syndrome score,PSQI Pittsburgh sleep quality monitoring scale,Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA)and Depression Scale(HAMD)before admission and after treatment. The improvement effect of sleep disorder was quantified according to the score of the above scale.Results:1.The differences between the two groups of subjects in gender, age, course of disease,as well as the groups of TCM syndrome score scale,PSQI scale,Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA)and Depression Scale(HAMD)before treatment were statistically comparable(P >0.05).2.The results of PSQI and TCM syndrome score before and after self-treatment in the sample groups of the two groups showed that the scores of the treatment group and the control group before and after treatment were statistically significant(P < 0.05),indicating that they have a certain effect on sleep disorders of heart and gallbladder Qi deficiency type.3.In terms of curative effect evaluation,8 cases were cured,5 cases were markedly effective,4 cases were effective and 3 cases were ineffective in the acupuncture group of thirteen ghost points, with a total effective rate of 85%;In the routine acupuncture group,4 cases were cured,6 cases were markedly effective,7 cases were effective and 3 cases were ineffective. The total effective rate was 85%.The results of statistical analysis of PSQI and TCM syndrome score between the two groups were not statistically significant(P > 0.05).The effect of acupuncture at thirteen ghost points on improving sleep disorder was not better than that of conventional acupuncture.4.The statistical results of HAMD and HAMA scale scores before and after self-treatment in the sample groups of the two groups showed that P < 0.05,which was statistically significant, indicating that the above two groups could reduce the symptoms of depression and anxiety while improving sleep disorders.5.After treatment, the scores of HAMD and HAMA scale were compared between the two groups. The statistical results showed that P < 0.05,which was statistically significant, indicating that the thirteen ghost acupoint group was better than the routine treatment group in improving the symptoms of depression and anxiety while improving the sleep disorder. Conclusion:Acupuncture at "Thirteen ghost points" has obvious effect on improving sleep disorder of heart and gallbladder Qi deficiency type, but the effect is equivalent to that of routine acupuncture group. Both acupuncture groups can improve patients’ anxiety and depression caused by sleep disorder to a certain extent, but the effect of acupuncture at "Thirteen ghost points" is more significant, which is suitable for clinical promotion. |
