| Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Jiawei Kansui Powder on Shenque acupoint patch on cancerous ascites syndrome of binding of water and blood stasis.Methods: Carry on random parallel controled experiment,select 54 patients that qualified cancerous ascites syndrome of binding of water and blood stasis,in accordance wiht the admission time number,applying table of random numbers,27 cases were sorted treatment group(basic + Jiawei Kansui Powder on Shenque acupoint patch)and 27 cases were control group(basic +oral furosemide tablets and spironolactone tablets).The two groups were treated a courset that one week.Examing the two groups modification on before and after treatment of TCM symptom,abdominal ciecumference,24-hour urine output,weight,and safety index,using statistical analysis to draw conclusions.Results:(1)Evaluation of TCM symptom score: between treatment group and control group before treatment P=0.052 along with after treatment P=0.002;contrasting the two groups with before and after therapy P=0.000.The results illustrated that two groups can effectively reduce the TCM symptom score,the TCM symptom improvement was higher in the treatment group than in the control group.(2)Evaluation of Weight: Comparison of pre-treatment in two groups the P=0.542,and after treatment the P=0.030;intragroup comparison,before and after treatment was compared between the treatment group and control group the P=0.000.Both groups were able to reduce the weight of the patients,the treatment group was superior to the control group.(3)Evaluation of 24-hour urine output: Comparison of pre-treatment in two groups the P=0.808,and after treatment the P=0.008;intragroup comparison,before and after treatment was compared between the treatment group and control group the P=0.000.Both groups increased urine output by 24 hours,moreover the treatment group was more pronounced than the control group.(4)Evaluation of abdominal circumference: Comparison of pre-treatment in two groups the P=0.984,and after treatment the P=0.177;intragroup comparison,before and after treatment was compared between the two group the P=0.000.Both the treatment and control groups can reduce the abdominal circumference of the patient.(5)Evaluation of clinical efficacy of acupuncture point patches: Comparison of two groups the P=0.029,general activity ratio of the treatment group was88.89%,the other one was 70.73%.The treatment group had a higher rate of effectiveness.(6)KPS score:Comparison of pre-treatment in two groups the P=0.185,and after treatment the P=0.009.It was shown that the treatment group could improve the physical performance of the patient.(7)Evaluation of adverse reactions:In the treatment group,2 patients had reddened skin after applying the Shen Que acupuncture point patch,while there were no untoward reaction in the control group,P=0.153,without statistical significance.Conclusion: Jiawei Kansui Powder on point Shenque application can effectively relieve the clinical symptoms of patients with cancerous ascites syndrome of binding of water and blood stasis,that safely improvesing the patient’s quality of life.It is worth further clinical promotion. |
