| Purpose of research:The purpose of this study is to explore the efect of dampness-heat treatment on children with bacterial enteritis,shortening the course of disease,rapidly relieving symptoms,reducing dehydration and critical illness.To explore the positive efect of this prescription on the overall functional recovery of children and the reduction of the probability of hospitalization.Research technique:From March 2020 to the pediatric clinic of Mianyang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in October 2021 were collected,and 70 children who met the inclusion criteria of hot-humid diarrbea were selected.The method of throwing dice(odd numbers were included in the trial group,even numbers in the control group)was randomized,with 34 cases in the trial group and 36 cases in the control group respectively.The treatment was Polygonum multiflorum anti-diarrhoea soup,the control group received oral montmorilloneite and lactobacillus bifidobacterium triple live tablet,and the patients with mild to moderate dehydration were treated with ORS orally.The treatment period of the two groups was 1 week.At the end of the treatment cycle,the integral statistics of TCM symptoms were performed for each child,iucluding stool frequency and characteristics,spirit,fever,vomiting,abdominal distention,abdominal pain and urination,routine stool reexamination,and the presence of other accompanying symptoms or new symptoms in the two groups were observed.Comparisons before and after treatment were made separately,including intra-group comparison and inter-group comparison.First:There was no difference in gender,age,degree of disease,length of disease and initial symptoms before treatment between groups,and interference factors were excluded.Second:compare the TCM symptom scores of major and minor syumptoms before and after treatment within the groups respectively to judge the effect of drug treatment.Third:compare the degree of improvement of each symptom between the groups after treatment,and the scores of major and minor symptoms and total scores after treatment between the two groups.Fourth:Observe the improvement of clinical symptoms and signs of the children in the two groups.The SPSS22.0 software was used for statistical analysis of the data to comprehensively evaluate the clinical efficacy of Polygonum multiflorum Anti-diarrhea Tang in the treatment of damp-heat diarrhea in children.Results.1.At the end of the clinical treatment,there was an improvement in the main symptoms(number of stools,nature)and secondary symptoms(stool volume,vomiting,abdominal pain,appetite,spirit,etc.)before and after the treatment in both groups,indicating that the protocols in both groups could improve damp-heat diarrhoea in children,and this treatment was effective;comparing the points of each main and secondary symptom between groups,data analysis suggested a significant difference(P<0.05),indicating that the efficacy of the observation group was better than that of the The data analysis suggested a significant difference(P<0.05),indicating that the efficacy of the observation group was better than the control group.2.After treatment,the comparison of secondary symptoms between groups revealed that the children in the control group showed deterioration in their mental state and appetite during the course of the illness,while the children in the observation group maintained normal mental state and appetite or turned better throughout the course of the illness,indicating that the observation group had a protective effect on the spleen and stomach.3.Comparing the onset of diarrhea in the two groups of children,by X2 test,P<0.05,there is a significant difference,suggesting that the observation group is better than the control group in the time to stop diairhea,and the observation can significantly shorten the duration of the disease.4.At the end of the treatment,the stool routine was rechecked and the observation group basically returned to normal,which was better than the control group.5.Finally,the total response rate of the trial group was 93.33%,and the control group was 83.33%5,which were statistically analyzed and showed a significant difference(P<0.05),indicating that the overall efficacy of the observation group was better than that of the control group.Conclusion.1.Polygonum multiflorum anti-diarrhoea soup can improve the symptoms of diarrhoea and abdominal pain in children,especially in improving secondary symptoms such as appetite and mental health.2.The cure rate of Polygonum multiflorum anti-diarrhoea soup is higher than that of conventional Western medicine.This indicates that Polygonum multiflorum is an efective treatment for damp-heat type diarrhoea in children. |
