Application Of Dermatoscopy To Evaluate The Efficacy Of Self-made Sangpi Zhiqiao Prescription Combined With Hydroxy Clinical Efficacy Of Chloroquine In The Treatment Of Pyrotoxic Rosacea

Objective:This project applied the self-made Sangpi Zhiqiao prescription externally combined with hydroxychloroquine orally for the treatment of pyrotoxic skin-embedded rosacea.The clinical efficacy and safety were evaluated by observing the degree of symptom improvement and adverse reactions of patients before and after treatment,and the changes of skin lesions in rosacea patients before and after treatment were observed under dermatoscopy,so as to provide more options for the combined treatment of rosacea with Chinese and Western medicine.Methods:Seventy cases of rosacea with heat toxicity in the skin included in this study were divided into a treatment group and a control group according to the randomization principle,with 35 cases in each group.The treatment group was treated with self-made Sangpi Zhiqiao prescription externally combined with hydroxychloroquine and metronidazole gel,and the control group was treated with hydroxychloroquine and metronidazole gel.The subjective symptoms,objective total lesion scores,TCM symptom scores,DLQI and dermoscopic lesion scores of patients in the three groups were recorded before treatment,at the end of 4 weeks of treatment and at the end of 8 weeks of treatment,respectively,and the data were statistically processed and analyzed.Results:(1)At the end of treatment,the subjective symptoms,objective skin lesions,and TCM symptoms of patients in both groups improved compared with those before,and the patients’ DLQI improved;the scores of subjective symptoms,objective skin lesions and total scores,TCM symptoms score values,and DLQI of the treatment group were lower than those of the control group,and the efficacy was better than that of the control group(P<0.05);the overall effective rate was 88.6% in the treatment group and 62.9% in the control group,and the treatment The overall efficacy of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).(2)Comparison of dermoscopic lesion scores: The dermoscopic background of rosacea patients was mainly dark red,the vascular morphology was mainly linear and linearly branched,the vascular distribution was mainly clustered and reticulated,and the non-vascular structures were mainly papular pustules,follicular corns and scales.Patients in the treatment and control groups showed a statistically significant decrease in dark red and red background after 4 and 8weeks of treatment(P<0.05)and a statistically significant increase in light red background(P<0.05),suggesting a significant lightening of background color.There was no significant change in vessel morphology and distribution before and after treatment,which was not statistically significant(P>0.05),while non-vascular structures were significantly reduced after treatment,which was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The clinical efficacy of the self-made Sangpi Zhiqiao prescription combined with hydroxychloroquine in the treatment of pyrotoxic skin-embedded rosacea is definite,which can effectively improve patients’ subjective symptoms,objective skin lesions,TCM symptoms and DLQI with high safety,and is worthy of clinical promotion and application.The improvement of skin lesions in patients with rosacea can be observed by dermoscopy,which can provide an objective reference basis for evaluating the clinical efficacy.
