Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Children’ Functional Constipation(Syndrome Types Of Lung-heat And Fu-excess) With Tingfu Pill

Purpose:Based on the theoretical foundation of "lung and large intestine are external and internal",this topic attempts to explore the efficacy of Professor’s Exper ience Fang Tingfu Pill in the treatment of functional constipation in children with lung-heat and fu-excess.According to the clinical efficacy comparison with the lactulose control group,we can obtain the clinical efficacy comparison between the two groups,previous and post symptom scores,and follow-up recurrence,in order to analyze the overall efficacy of Tingfu Pill in the treatment of functional constipation in children and explore its practicality.Method:This study collected data from the pediatric outpatient department of Sichuan Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2022,and met the foll owing criteria:Children with functional constipation(lung-heat and fu-excess)who were enrolled in the standard were randomly divided into two groups: the treatment group was given a traditional Chinese medicine prescription of Tingfu Pill,and the control group was given lactulose for a course of 2 weeks.The scores of primary and secondary symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine before and after treatment were recorded,and the data were statistically analyzed by SPSS 20.0 software.After comparison,the efficacy was evaluated.After 2 weeks of medication,a follow-up of1 month was conducted to observe the recurrence of the two groups and conduct statistics.Results:A total of 65 cases were included in this trial,and 2 cases fell out.Therefore,63 cases actually completed clinical observation.There was no significant difference between the two groups in terms of gender,age,population distribution,disease duration,and previous treatment syndrome scores,which was comparable.Th e results showed that:(1)Efficacy: After 2 weeks of treatment,the total effective rate in the treatment group was 87.5%,while the total effective rate in the control group was 61.29%.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant.(2)Syndrome score:(1)Intragroup comparison: The scores of children in the two groups were compared before and after treatment,and the differences were statistically significant.The symptoms of children in the two groups were improved compared with those before treatment.(2)Comparison between groups: The difference in syndrome scores between the two groups after treatment was statistically significant.In terms of main symptoms,there were significant differences in defecation difficulty defecation duration,and defecation interval;In terms of secondary symptoms,there was statistical significance in improving abdominal pain and abdominal distension,flushing and body heat,dry mouth and bad breath,nasal congestion and runny nose,cough and expectoration in the two groups(P.(3)Recurrence analysis: After 1 month of treatment,follow-up was conducted.The recurrence rate of Tingfu Pill was 14.3%,and the recurrence rate of lactulose was 57.9%,with a statistically significant difference.(4)Safety: During the treatment,there were no significant adverse reactions and drug allergies in children.Conclusion: The clinical efficacy of Tingfu Pill in the treatment of children with fu nctional constipation(lung heat and viscera excess type)is significant,with a low recurrence rate and no adverse reactions.
