Objective This study uses the "5E" rehabilitation model as a theoretical framework to construct a suitable nursing plan for patients after repair of achilles tendon rupture; And evaluate the effect of its clinical application in order to promote rapid recovery of patients. Methods 1.Construction of nursing plan: This study takes the "5E" rehabilitation model as the theoretical framework, and constructs a nursing plan for patients after Achilles tendon rupture repair surgery through literature research, qualitative interviews, and two rounds of Delphi expert inquiries.2.Application of Nursing Plan: In this study,54 patients with Achilles tendon rupture who were treated by the Sports medicine Department of a Grade III Grade A general hospital in Lanzhou City,Gansu Province from July 2021 to October 2022 and met the screening criteria were selected as the study subjects,27 in the control group and 27 in the observation group. The control group received routine care, while the intervention group received intervention using a "5E" rehabilitation model nursing plan on the basis of routine care.Compare and evaluate the AFOAS ankle posterior foot function scores of the two groups of patients before surgery,1 month,3 months, and 6 months after surgery;Compare and evaluate the pain levels of patients at admission,24 hours,3 days,7 days after surgery, and 1 and 3 months after surgery;Compare and evaluate the anxiety level of patients before surgery,1 month and 3 months after surgery;Meanwhile,a comparative evaluation was conducted on the incidence of complications between the two groups of patients.Use SPSS 27.0 for statistical analysis of the data. The difference with P<0.05 is statistically significant. Results 1.The constructed nursing plan for patients after repair of achilles tendon rupture includes a total of 5 first level items,26 second level items, and 87 third level items;2.One patient was lost in the intervention group and one patient was lost in the control group. In the end,52 patients completed this study. The average age of 52 patients with achilles tendon rupture was(33.90 ± 8.44)years old; There were 47 male injuries(90.3%)and 5 female injuries(9.7%);The average BMI score of the intervention group was(22.63 ± 0.82)kg/m2,while the average BMI score of the control group was(22.49 ± 1.19)kg/m2,which was within the normal range;39 patients(75.0%)suffered from sports injuries,13 patients(25.0%)suffered from other injuries such as trauma;Baseline data such as demographic characteristics and clinical data of the two groups of patients were balanced and comparable(P>0.05).3.After repeated measurement analysis of variance, there was an interactive effect between the AOFAS ankle posterior foot function scores of the two groups of patients(F group * F time =13.591,P group * P time <0.001).Using simple effect analysis, there was no statistically significant difference between the AOFAS ankle posterior foot function scores of the two groups of patients before and 1 month after surgery(P>0.05);At 3 and 6 months after surgery, the AOFAS ankle posterior foot function score between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the AOFAS ankle posterior foot function score in the intervention group was higher than that in the control group at 3 and 6 months after surgery.4.After repeated measurement analysis of variance, there was an interactive effect on the pain scores of the two groups of patients(F group * F time =1.724,P group * P time =<0.001).Using simple effect analysis,it was found that the VAS scores of the two groups of patients at admission,24 hours after surgery, and 3 days after surgery were not statistically significant(P>0.05).At 7 days,1 month, and 3 months after surgery, the VAS scores between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05),and the VAS scores in the intervention group were lower than those in the control group at 7 days,1 month, and 3 months after surgery.5.After repeated measurement analysis of variance, there was an interactive effect between the anxiety scores of the two groups of patients(F group * F time =3.790,P group * P time <0.05).Using simple effect analysis, there was no statistically significant difference in preoperative anxiety scores between the two groups of patients(P>0.05);At 1 and 3 months after surgery, the anxiety scores between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05),and the anxiety scores in the intervention group were lower than those in the control group at 1 and 3 months after surgery.6.The incidence of complications in the intervention group was lower than that in the control group, but there was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of complications between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions(1)This study takes the "5E" rehabilitation model as the theoretical framework, and through literature research, qualitative interviews, and Delphi expert inquiries, constructs a patient care plan for Achilles tendon rupture repair surgery. The plan is scientific and feasible, and can be applied to clinical practice;(2)A rehabilitation nursing plan for patients after Achilles tendon rupture repair based on the "5E" rehabilitation model is beneficial for improving ankle joint function; Can alleviate postoperative pain in patients; It can alleviate patients’ anxiety.
