Objective Observing the influence on pain of Achilles tendon while lower limbs loading, mechanical characters of plantar flexors about the affected side and the comprehensive clinical curative effect which caused by contralateral electroacupuncture combined with rehabilitation training in treating the postoperative patient of acute closed achilles tendon rupture with modified Kessler surgical method.Exploring treatment effect of contralateral electroacupuncture combined with rehabilitation training on this kind of patient,to provide evidence for using contralateral electroacupuncture combined with rehabilitation training in rehabilitation of the postoperative patient of acute closed achilles tendon rupture with modified Kessler surgical method. Methods 78 patients of postoperative acute closed achilles tendon rupture with modified Kessler surgical method were randomly divided into control group and experimental group, both are 39cases.Both groups accept routine postoperative rehabilitation training for 12 weeks when enrolled in each group, meanwhile, using contralateral electroacupuncture treating method in the experimental group for the first 6 weeks. To observe the changes on pain of Achilles tendon while lower limbs loading, mechanical characters of plantar flexors, comprehensive clinical curative effect between the two groups of patients at different time. Results General data of the two groups in age,sex and time from injury to operation, there were no significant differences(P>0.05).①VAS score:After 6 weeks and 12 weeks, the VAS scores of the two groups were decreased, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).At 6 and 12 weeks treatment, the VAS score was significantly lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).②The results of plantar flexors isokinetic test on the affected side:Two groups after 8 and 12 weeks of treatment, the ankle plantar flexors isokinetic test index PFPT,PTBW,TW compared with before were higher, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).At 8 weeks and 12 weeks, experiment group ankle plantar flexors isokinetic test index PFPT,PTBW,TW index was significantly higher than that of the control group. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).③The results of comprehensive clinical curative effect:After 6 weeks and 12 weeks treatment, the AOFAS.AH scores of the two groups were significantly higher than that before, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).AOFAS.AH score at 12 weeks, the experiment group was significantly higher than the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion①The contralateral electroacupuncture method combined with rehabilitation training can ease the pain of the postoperative patient of acute closed achilles tendon rupture with modified Kessler surgical method.②The contralateral electroacupuncture method combined with rehabilitation training can enhance the ability of achilles tendon repair postoperative patient of acute closed achilles tendon rupture with modified Kessler surgical method, reinforce the mechanical characters of the ruptured Achilles tendon.③The contralateral electroacupuncture method combined with rehabilitation training can improve the medium-term comprehensive clinical curative effect of postoperative patient of acute closed achilles tendon rupture with modified Kessler surgical method.④The contralateral electroacupuncture method combined with rehabilitation training has a significant effect on the functional recovery of postoperative patient of acute closed achilles tendon rupture with modified Kessler surgical method. This method is safe and of good compliance,it will be worthy of clinical promotion.
