Objective:To observe the effects of Mongolian medicine acupuncture therapy combined with cupping therapy on the main symptoms of asthma,ACT scores, and major and minor airway function indexes of pulmonary function for the treatment of patients with Chronic Persistent Bronchial Asthma(Dyspnea Disease)and to evaluate their clinical efficacy.Methods:72 patients with chronic persistent bronchial asthma(Dyspnea Disease)who met the diagnostic criteria were enrolled and randomly divided into 36 cases each in the treatment and control groups. The treatment group was treated with Mongolian medicine acupuncture therapy(Badagan point,Mother-lung point and Daughter-lung point)combined with cupping therapy(Anterior-lung point and Parietal-lung point)was given every other day for a total of 15 times. In the control group, budesonide formoterol inhalation powder nebulizer(160/4.5 μg/inhalation)was used daily as prescribed by the doctor,1 inhalation each time, once in the morning and once in the evening. The two groups were treated separately for 4 weeks and then compared with the observation index. The changes in the values of asthma major symptom score,ACT score and pulmonary ventilation function major and minor airway indexes(FEV1,FEV1/FVC,PEF,MEF75,MEF50,MEF25,MMEF75/25)were recorded before and after treatment in the two groups respectively for comparison, and the degree of improvement of asthma symptoms, the number of acute exacerbations, the level of clinical control and the effect of pulmonary function were observed. Results: 5 instances were shed,33 in the treatment group and 34 in the control group.1.The differences in age, gender, duration of disease and severity of disease between the two groups were not statistically significant(p>0.05)and were comparable;the values of asthma major symptom score,ACT score and major and minor airway indexes of pulmonary ventilation function(FEV1,FEV1/FVC,PEF,MEF75,MEF50,MEF25,MMEF75/25)in the two groups before treatment The differences were not statistically significant(p>0.05)and the two groups were comparable.2.Asthma major symptom scale: intra-group comparison: the total asthma major symptom scores and individual symptom scores of both groups were significantly lower than those before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).The difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).The difference was not significant(p>0.05)between the treatment group and the control group. The total effective rate of the treatment group was 90.9% and the total effective rate of the control group was 85.3%,the efficacy of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(p<0.05).3.ACT score of asthma control test: intra-group comparison: ACT scores of both groups were significantly higher than before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(p < 0.01).The difference was statistically significant(p <0.05).The total effective rate was 87.9% in the treatment group and 82.4% in the control group, the difference was not statistically significant(p>0.05).4.Airway function indexes: intra-group comparison: FEV1,FEV1/FVC and PEF in both groups were higher than before treatment, the difference between FEV1 and PEF in the treatment group was significant(p < 0.05),and the difference between FEV1/FVC was not significant(p>0.05).In the control group, the difference in PEF was significant(p<0.05)and the difference in FEV1 and FEV1/FVC was not significant(p>0.05).Comparison between groups: FEV1,FEV1/FVC and PEF were not significantly different in the treatment group compared to the control group(p>0.05).5.Small airway function indexes: intra-group comparison: significant differences in MEF75,MEF50,MEF25,MMEF75/25 in the treatment group(p<0.05).In the control group, the differences in MEF75,MEF25 and MMEF75/25 were not significant(p>0.05),while MEF50 was higher than before treatment and the difference was significant(p<0.05).Comparison between groups: MEF75,MEF50,MEF25,MMEF75/25 were not significantly different in the treatment group compared to the control group(p>0.05).Conclusion:1.Mongolian medicine acupuncture therapy combined with cupping therapy has significant efficacy in the treatment of chronic persistent bronchial asthma(Dyspnea Disease),which can effectively relieve the symptoms of wheezing, cough, sputum, shortness of breath and croup, and the overall efficacy is better than that of conventional western medicine treatment.2.Mongolian medicine acupuncture therapy combined with cupping therapy has significantly reduced the number of acute attacks and improved clinical control in the treatment of chronic persistent bronchial asthma(Dyspnea Disease),and the overall efficacy is comparable to that of conventional western medicine treatment.3.Mongolian medicine acupuncture therapy combined with cupping therapy can effectively balance the Hey,Badagan and Qisu phases, regulate the body elements, open the orifices and unblock the flow of Qi and Qisu, thus alleviating the restricted airflow in patients with chronic persistent bronchial asthma(Dyspnea Disease),opens the lungs, reduces airway resistance, improves lung function, and to some extent reduces airway dysfunction and effectively improves small airway dysfunction. |
