Objective: To apply neck-shoulder exercise to patients with cervical spondylotic radiculopathy, and to explore the application effect of neck-shoulder exercise in improving cervical spondylosis symptoms and cervical dysfunction,so as to provide scientific basis for the popularization and application of neck-shoulder exercise in clinical nursing. Methods: 70 patients with cervical spondylotic radiculopathy who were hospitalized from January 2022 to October 2022 in the pain treatment area of a third-class first-class hospital in Changchun were selected.Patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into experimental group and control group, with 35 cases in each group. The control group received routine treatments and nursing measures. The experimental group practiced neck-shoulder exercise on the basis of routine treatments and nursing measures. Before, after 2 weeks and after 4 weeks of intervention, the two groups of patients were scored by Tanaka Jingjiu Cervical Spondylosis Symptom Scale,Neck Disability Index Questionnaire and Numerical Rating Scale,so as to comprehensively evaluate the application effect of neck-shoulder exercise in patients with cervical spondylotic radiculopathy.Results:1.There was no statistically significant(P>0.05)in sex, age, occupation, course of disease, working posture, neck trauma, physical exercise and continuous working time at desk between the two groups,so the two groups were comparable.2.Comparative results of Tanaka Jingjiu Cervical Spondylosis Symptom Scale between experimental group and control group:Intra-group comparison: The differences of scores at the three time points in the experimental group and the control group were statistically significant(P<0.001).Inter-group comparison: The differences of scores both the two groups before intervention and after 2 weeks of intervention were not statistically significant(P>0.05).After 4 weeks of intervention, the score of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).3.Comparative results of Neck Disability Index Questionnaire between experimental group and control group:Intra-group comparison: The differences of scores at the three time points in the experimental group and the control group were statistically significant(P<0.001).Inter-group comparison: The differences of scores both the two groups before intervention and after 2 weeks of intervention were not statistically significant(P>0.05).After 4 weeks of intervention, the score of the experimental group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).4.Comparative results of Numerical Rating Scale between experimental group and control group:Intra-group comparison: The differences of scores at the three time points in the experimental group and the control group were statistically significant(P<0.001).Inter-group comparison: The differences of scores both the two groups before intervention and after 2 weeks of intervention were not statistically significant(P>0.05).After 4 weeks of intervention, the score of the experimental group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion: neck-shoulder exercise can effectively relieve the symptoms of patients with cervical spondylotic radiculopathy, thus improving the function of the neck, which can be popularized and applied in clinical nursing.Although the neck-shoulder exercise can not replace massage, acupuncture and other treatments, they can play an auxiliary role and need long-term persistence. On the basis of routine treatment and nursing measures, the effect of neck-shoulder exercise is better than that of routine treatment and nursing care only. |
