Objective:To Observe the intervention effect of Shaw’s neck protection exercises on patients with non-acute cervical radiculopathy,in order to provide effective prevention and treatment methods for clinical radiculopathy patients.Methods:Sixty-six patients with non-acute radiculopathy cervical spondylosis meetin g the inclusion criteria were selected and randomly divided into control group and obser vation group with 33 cases each. The observation group used Shaw’s neck protection exe rcises intervention, and the control group used conventional exercises intervention, continu ous intervention for 12 weeks.Visual analogue scores,Yasuhisa Tanaka Cervical Spine S ymptom Scale,Cervical Spine Dysfunction Index and quality of life scores were observe d before,at 2 weeks,4 weeks and 12 weeks of intervention, and the scores were statisti cally analysed.Results:(1)In terms of pain and other symptoms, the visual analogue scores of the two gro ups improved after intervention compared with before intervention, and the difference wa s statistically significant(p<0.05);here were statistically significant differences between the two groups on the Yasuhisa Tanaka Cervical Spondylosis Symptom Scale scores after th e intervention compared to the Pre-intervention(p<0.05).There was no difference betwee n the two groups before intervention,2 weeks of intervention, and 4 weeks of interventi on.At 12 weeks of intervention, the difference between the groups was statistically signi ficant(p<0.05).At 12 weeks of intervention, the difference in cervical spondylosis sympt om scores between groups was statistically significant(p<0.01),and the observation grou p was higher than the control group, indicating that both groups can improve symptoms after intervention, but Shaw’s neck exercise intervention is more effective.(2)In terms of cervical spine dysfunction, the NDI scores of the two groups were reduced after 2 weeks of intervention,4 weeks of intervention, and 12 weeks of intervention. At 12 weeks of intervention, the difference in NDI scores between the two groups was statistically significant(p<0.05),and the average score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, suggesting that Shaw’s neck protection exercises improved cervical spine function more significantly than conventional exercises at 12 weeks of intervention.(3)In terms of quality of life, the mean quality of life scores improved in both groups after the intervention. At 12 weeks of intervention, the difference in quality of life scores between the two groups was statistically significant(p<0.05),and the average score of the observation group was higher than that of the control In group,it was suggested that at 12 weeks of intervention,Shaw’ s neck protection exercises can improve the patient’s quality of life is more effective. Conclusion:Both conventional exercise exercises and Shaw’s neck exercises can improve non-acute cervical radiculopathy patients’ symptoms such as pain, cervical spine function and quality of life;in the short term, there is no difference in the effect of intervention between the two groups. In the long run,the intervention effect of Shaw’s exercises is more effective. |
