Tiaojin Zhenggu Manipulation And Dingxuan Shujing Decoction In The Treatment For Vertebral Artery Type Cervical Spondylosis

Objective: To explore the clinical efficacy and safety in the combination of tendon and bone setting manipulation and self-designed Dingxuan Shujing Decoction for cervical spondylosis of vertebral artery type(hyperactivity of liver-yang syndrome),in order to provide help and guide clinical practice.Methods: A total of 72 patients with cervical spondylosis of vertebral artery type(hyperactivity of liver-yang syndrome)were collected.Among them,36 patients(treatment group)were treated with muscle and bone adjustment manipulation combined with self-designed Dingxuan Shujing Decoction,while 36 patients(control group)were treated with Dingxuan Shujing Decoction orally.The VAS,ESCV,NDI,TCM syndrome and FS-CSA score were used as outcome indicators,and we collected the results including pre-treatment,14 days after treatment and 1 month after treatment.SPSS25.0 software was used for statistical analysis.Results: The comparison in the two groups indicated that the VAS,FS-CSA,NDI and TCM syndrome score decreased significantly pre and after treatment(P<0.05).Comparison results between the two groups: 1)After 14 days of treatment,the combined group was better than the control group in improving VAS,FS-CSA,NDI and TCM syndrome score(P<0.05);2)One-month follow-up: the combined group was better than the control group in improving VAS,ESCV and FS-CSA score(P<0.05).Conclusion: Tiaojin and Bone-setting Manipulation combined with self-designed Dingxuan Shujing Decoction is better than the control group in improving pain,dysfunction,dizziness and TCM symptoms of patients with vertebral artery cervical spondylosis.
