Objective: Through a randomized controlled experiment,we observed the clinical efficacy of Professor Li Guofeng’s empirical formula "Self formulated Formula for Abdominal Pain" in the treatment of central mediated abdominal pain syndrome(deficient cold in the central viscera type),summarized the mentor’s dialectical thinking and treatment experience for this disease, and provided a reliable reference for clinical treatment of this disease. Methods: Select 72 patients who were diagnosed with centrally mediated abdominal pain syndrome(deficient cold in the central viscera type)from November 2021 to November2022 at the Anorectal Clinic of Changchun University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated Hospital.Through a randomized and controlled clinical research method, patients were evenly divided into a treatment group and a control group with 36 cases each using a randomized control table. The treatment group was given a self formulated formula for abdominal pain, while the control group was given Dajian Zhong Tang. Both groups were orally administered twice a day using granules provided by our hospital’s granule pharmacy. The treatment courses of both groups are two weeks. After one course of treatment, the changes in NRS pain score and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score of the patients were recorded, and the treatment effects of the two groups were compared.Statistical analysis was completed using SPSS 25.0 statistical software package. Results: 68 cases were effectively included, with 34 cases in the treatment group and 24 cases in the control group(2 cases were excluded due to detachment and exclusion in both groups). There was no statistically significant difference(P>0.05)in the age, gender,NRS score, and TCM symptom scores between the two groups before treatment, indicating comparability. After treatment, the total effective rate of the treatment group was 91.18%,while the total effective rate of the control group was 82.35% Intra group comparison: The NRS score and total symptom score of the two groups decreased after medication. The intra group comparison before and after treatment(P<0.05)showed a statistical difference between the two groups before and after treatment, indicating that both groups of treatment could alleviate symptoms Comparison between groups: After treatment, the NRS pain score was compared between groups(P<0.05),and the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome(score)was compared between groups(P<0.05).The difference between the two groups was statistically significant, indicating that the treatment group had better effects than the control group In terms of safety: Both groups of patients did not experience any discomfort or significant abnormal changes during the medication periodConclusion: The clinical efficacy of "Self formulated Formula for Abdominal Pain" in the treatment of central mediated abdominal pain syndrome(deficient cold in the central viscera type)is definite, and it has been proven to be safe and effective in improving abdominal pain symptoms and related syndromes. It is worthy of clinical promotion and use...
