Objective: Using ultraweak photon emission technology and infrared thermography,we compared the UPE intensity of different meridian acupoints and body surface skin temperature of acupoints in primary dysmenorrhea patients during menstruation to analyze the differences in energy characteristics of different meridian acupoints under the pathological state of dysmenorrhea and to provide an objective basis for future research on acupoint specificity. Methods: In this study,72 patients with primary dysmenorrhea were numbered and their menstrual periods were counted according to the order of recruitment. On the second day of menstruation, the UPE intensity of autoluminescence of acupuncture points and the body surface skin temperature of acupuncture points were detected and data were collected using the bio-ultrafine luminescence acquisition technique and digital infrared thermography, respectively. The acupoints to be tested were San Yin Jiao,Di Ji and Xuan Zhong. The UPE intensity values of the acupoints detected by the bio-ultrafine luminescence acquisition system every 0.05 s were collated and the abnormal values were eliminated by using an EXCEL sheet, and the temperature averages of the appropriate range size areas were taken to represent the body surface temperature of the acupoints on the color map of the temperature collected by the digital infrared thermography. Results: A total of 72 patients were enrolled in this study, and during the trial,6 cases were shed due to epidemics and other reasons, leaving 66 cases.1.UPE test results: In primary dysmenorrhea patients with menstrual periods, the differences in UPE intensity between the left Spleen meridian acupoints San Yin Jiao,Di Ji and Bile meridian acupoints Xuan Zhong were statistically significant(P < 0.05);the differences in UPE intensity between the right Spleen meridian acupoints San Yin Jiao,Di Ji and Bile meridian acupoints Xuan Zhong were statistically significant(P < 0.05);the differences in UPE intensity between the left and right Spleen meridian acupoints San Yin Jiao and Di Ji were statistically significant(P < 0.05);the difference in UPE intensity between the left and right sides of the Xuan Zhong of Bile meridian acupoints was not statistically significant(P > 0.05);and the UPE intensity comparison between the left and right sides of the acupoints showed a trend of higher UPE intensity on the right side than on the left side.2.IRT test results: In primary dysmenorrhea patients, the differences in body surface temperature between the left side of the acupoints of the Spleen meridian,San Yin Jiao,Di Ji and the Bile meridian,Xuan Zhong, during menstruation were not statistically significant(P > 0.05);the differences in body surface temperature between the right side of the acupoints of the Spleen meridian,San Yin Jiao,Di Ji and the Bile meridian,Xuan Zhong, were not statistically significant(P > 0.05);the differences in temperature between the left and right sides of the acupoints of the Spleen meridian,San Yin Jiao was statistically significant(P < 0.05);the difference in temperature between the right and left sides of the acupuncture point of the Spleen meridian,Di Ji,and the acupuncture point of the Bile meridian,Xuan Zhong, were not statistically significant(P > 0.05);and the comparison of the body surface temperature between the right and left sides of the acupuncture points showed a tendency for the right side to be higher than the left side.3.IBD-LRM: The maximum values of IBD-LRM for body surface temperature and photon intensity of acupoints were all for the acupoints of spleen meridian, and the minimum values were all for the acupoints of bile meridian.Conclusion:1.Temperature imbalance exists between the left and right sides of the spleen meridian acupoint San Yin Jiao during menstruation in patients with primary dysmenorrhea.2.The UPE intensity of Spleen meridian acupoints San Yin Jiao and Di Ji during menstruation in patients with primary dysmenorrhea was different from that of Bile meridian acupoints Xuan Zhong, and the UPE intensity and body surface temperature imbalance of Spleen meridian acupoints were more reflective of the pathological state of primary dysmenorrhea than that of Bile meridian acupoints, and all three acupoints showed a tendency of higher UPE intensity and body surface temperature on the right side than on the left side. |
