Evaluation Of The Efficacy Of Cold Application Of Zhong’s Clearing Dampness And Relieving Itch Soup In The Treatment Of Acute Eczema Of Anus With Syndrome Of Dampness-heat Diffusing Downward

Objective:By observing the efficacy of cold and wet application of Zhong’s Dampness Clearing and Anti-itching Soup in treating acute eczema of anus of syndrome of dampness-heat diffusing downward,we provide clinical data support and new ideas for the treatment of Chinese medicine.Methods:The subjects selected for this observation were all patients attending the outpatient clinic of the Department of Anorectal Medicine,Kunming Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine,and this study was conducted from January 2022 to December 2022.Seventy-two patients who met the inclusion diagnostic criteria were randomly grouped,treatment group(n=36 cases): Zhong’s Dampness Clearing and Anti-itching Tang solution,control group(n=36 cases): 3% boric acid solution.7 days was a treatment cycle and two consecutive courses of treatment were required.After the completion of the two courses of treatment,the patients’ quality of life and symptom improvement were observed and collected for statistical analysis.2 months later,patients with effective treatment(effective in three objective indicators: perianal itching,improvement of EASI score,perianal dampness and exudate score)were followed up and recurrence was counted.Patients with localised skin irritation or general discomfort,or with worsening of the condition during the treatment period should be promptly intervened and,if necessary,the clinical trial should be terminated.Results:1.The general conditions(including age,gender,weight and height)of the two groups of patients were compared separately,P>0.05,no significant difference,no effect on this clinical trial,and the study could be conducted normally..2.After two weeks of treatment,the quality of life of patients in both groups improved significantly compared with that before treatment and one week of treatment,P<0.05,a significant difference,indicating that both the treatment group and the control group could effectively alleviate the quality of life of patients,and the improvement of the treatment group was more effective than that of the control group.3.After two courses of treatment,patients in both the treatment and control groups showed significant improvement in perianal symptoms compared to one week of treatment and before treatment,with a significant difference of P<0.05,indicating that both the treatment and control groups could effectively reduce local perianal symptoms,and the treatment group had a better relief effect than the control group.4.After two consecutive weeks of treatment,the Mann-Whitney U test P=0.000<0.05 was performed on the two groups of patients,there was a significant difference,and the total effective rate of both groups reached more than 50%,indicating that both the treatment and control groups could achieve the therapeutic effect.5.Patients with effective treatment were followed up after 2 months and the recurrence rate of the two groups was tested by chi-square test,P=0.041<0.05,there is a significant difference,it can be clear that after treatment the recurrence of the treatment group is lower than the control group.6.During the whole treatment cycle,there were two cases of skin tingling and worsening of self-consciousness in the control group,while no adverse reactions occurred in the treatment group for the time being.Conclusion:The treatment of acute eczema of anus caused by damp-heat can significantly improve the quality of life of patients and their perianal symptoms,without adverse reactions.
