Clinical Observation Of Bushen Zhuangjin Decoction Combined With Calcitonin In The Treatment Of Primary Male Osteoporosis

ObjectiveClarify the clinical efficacy and safety of Bushen Zhuangjin Decoction combined with calcitonin in the treatment of male osteoporosis of kidney deficiency and blood stasis type,enrich the clinical research of drugs for male osteoporosis,demonstrate from the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine,and give full play to the inherent advantages of Chinese medicine,to provide new ideas and methods for the treatment of male osteoporosis with traditional Chinese medicine.MethodsA total of 66 male osteoporosis patients who met the inclusion criteria in the inpatient department of Yunnan Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected and divided into the experimental group and the control group by random number table method,with 33 cases in each group.Both groups were treated with calcitonin injection,and the experimental group was given modified Bushen Zhuangjin Decoction on the basis of the control group.The course of treatment was 3 months.Essential complementary treatments,and guidance on a healthy lifestyle.The VAS score,osteoporosis symptom score,bone mineral density and bone metabolism indexes of the two groups of patients before and after treatment were observed,and the effective rate of treatment and adverse drug reactions were recorded at the same time.Statistical methods were used to analyze and process the data of this study to draw conclusions.ResultsA total of 66 cases were enrolled,3 cases dropped out in each of the test group and the control group,and 60 cases were finally effective.Statistical analysis showed that both the experimental group and the control group could improve the patient’s pain and clinical symptoms after treatment(P<0.05),and the curative effect of the experimental group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05);the bone mineral density values of the two groups after treatment There was no significant improvement(P>0.05);in terms of bone metabolism indexes,the N-MID levels of the two groups of patients had no significant changes after treatment,and there was no statistical difference(P>0.05).After treatment,both treatment regimens could affect the level of β-CTX(P<0.05),and the experimental group was slightly better than the control group(P<0.05).The treatment efficiency of the experimental group was slightly higher than that of the control group,but the marked rate in the test group(53.33%)was significantly higher than that in the control group(23.33%).During the observation period,there were no abnormalities in safety indicators or special adverse reactions.ConclusionBushen Zhuangjin decoction combined with calcitonin can effectively improve the pain and clinical symptoms of male osteoporosis patients with kidney deficiency and blood stasis type,maintain bone mineral density to a certain extent,affect bone metabolism,and improve the marked efficiency of treatment.And there are no special adverse reactions and complications during the treatment period,the safety is guaranteed,and it is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
