Objectives According to the Fuyang theory, this study adopted a randomized controlled design scheme to treat the patients with lung and kidney Yang deficiency in the stable stage of COPD with Wenyang Yifei decoction. The clinical efficacy of Wenyang Yifei decoction was evaluated by further analyzing the changes of BODE index before and after clinical treatment. Methods A total of 72 patients who met the inclusion criteria of this study were collected and randomly divided into treatment group and control group,36 cases in each group. The patients in the control group were treated with indacaterronium bromide inhalation powder, and the patients in the treatment group were treated with Wenyang Yifei decoction combined with indacaterronium bromide inhalation powder. The treatment period was two months, and the follow-up period was four months.Through statistical analysis, the BODE index of the control group and the treatment group before and after treatment were counted and analyzed, and the observed indicators were statistically analyzed by statistical software SPSS26.0.Research results1.Comparison of BODE index between the two groups:(1)Intra-group comparison between the two groups after treatment: FEV1%pred and6 MWD within 6 minutes(6MWD)of patients in the treatment group and control group were detected, and the results showed that the two indexes of patients in the two groups were significantly improved after treatment(P < 0.05);The dyspnea score(m MRC)and BODE index score of 2 groups were significantly decreased compared with before treatment(P < 0.05).The body mass index(BMI)of the treatment group and the control group was compared before and after treatment. The results showed that there was no significant change in BMI between the treatment group and the control group(P > 0.05).(2)Comparison between groups: the treatment group was more effective in improving6MWD(P < 0.05).After treatment, the m MRC and BODE index scores of the treatment group were significantly lower than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).At the same time, the difference of other indicators was not statistically significant(P > 0.05).2.Comparison of CAT scores: the results of the two groups after treatment were significantly decreased(P < 0.05).However,patients in the treatment group had a greater reduction in CAT scores after treatment(P < 0.05).The results showed that both treatment regimens could improve the quality of life of the patients, and the treatment group was more effective in improving the quality of life than the control group.3.TCM syndrome score and curative effect:(1)Total TCM syndrome score: compared with the total TCM syndrome score before treatment, the total TCM syndrome score of the treatment group and the control group were significantly decreased, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Comparison of total symptom score between the two groups: the treatment group had better remission effect on clinical symptoms(P < 0.05).(2)TCM symptom scores: compared with those before treatment, all TCM symptom scores of the treatment group after treatment were significantly decreased(P < 0.05);However,the control group with western medicine had no obvious effect on improving the symptoms of cold, easy to cold, waist and knee soreness and tinnitus(P > 0.05),but had significant improvement effect on the other TCM symptoms(P < 0.05).The results of comparison between the two groups showed(P < 0.05),indicating that the combination of traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine was superior to the simple use of western medicine in improving clinical symptoms.(3)Comparison of the efficacy of TCM syndromes: the total effective rates of the treatment group and the control group were 91.18% and 78.79%,respectively.The test showed that(P < 0.05),indicating that the treatment group had better effect.Research conclusion Based on the Fuyang theory, the application of Wenyang-Yifei decoction combined with the basic western medicine program in the treatment of patients with lung and kidney Yang deficiency in the stable stage of COPD is more effective than the conventional use of western medicine single treatment program, which has significant advantages in improving the clinical symptoms of patients, enhancing the endurance of human activities and improving the quality of life.
