Clinical Study On Xiefei Zhuyu Decoction In The Treatment Of Elderly AECOPD With Lung Phlegm Heat Stasis Syndrome

[Objective]After the elderly AECOPD with lung phlegm heat stasis syndrome treated by Xiefei Zhuyu Decoction,observe the patients’s improvement of symptoms and related indexes,when the patients of AECOPD finished the treatment of Chinese traditional medicine,explored the efficacy,safety and feasibility.[Methods]Based on the relevant standards,we collected 72 patients,and the treatment group and the control group each was divided into 36 patients,they all took the conventional Western medicine treatments,but the treatment group was treated with traditional Chinese medicine decoction for purgative lung callde Xiefei Zhuyu decoction,and the observation lasted for 2 weeks.After the treatments,we compared with the WBC,blood gas analysis,pulmonary function,TCM symptom scores and safety index of two groups.[Results]1 Total effective rate:The TCM symptom total effective rate of two groups was93.33%and 83.33%.The treatment group’s curative effectwas was better than the control group（P<0.05）.2 Comparison of TCM symptom score:After the treatments,by compared,the results of the total and single scores were all decreased conspicuously（P<0.01）;Compared with the total score of two groups,the treatment group’s decrease of total scores was more conspicuously（P<0.01）,for the decrease of single scoresand about the cough,wheezing,phlegm,dark lip,chest pain and constipation,the treatment group was more conspicuously than the control group（P<0.05）,but there was no difference of two groups’s improvement of fever and thirst symptoms（P>0.05）.3 Comparison of infection indexes:Two groups’s WBC all were decreased by different treatments（P<0.01）,and the treatment group’s degree of decline was higher than the other group（P<0.05）.4 Comparison of lung function:Two groups’s FEV₁/FVC all were improved by the different treatments（P<0.01）,and the treatment group’s improvement was better than the another group（P<0.05）.5 Comparison of blood gas analysis:The different treatments of two groups all could polished up the targets of PaO₂and PaCO₂（P<0.01）,and the treatment group’s improvement was better than the another group（P<0.05）.6 Safety:During the process of the treatment,there were no abnormities in safety indicators and vital signs,and there were no adverse reactions.[Conclusion]The Lung Phlegm Heat Stasis Syndrome of elderly AECOPD patients’s treatments of Xiefei Zhuyu Decoction combined with Western medicine had a exceptional clinical efficacy.The extent of the improvement of clinical manifestations and related examination indexes was better than the treatment of Western medicine,and it was security.
