Efficacy Observation Of Shujin Huoxue Decoction On Swelling And Pain After Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction

Objective:Observing the clinical efficacy of Shujin Huoxue Tang on limb swelling and pain after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction surgery,providing more traditional Chinese medicine options for the treatment of postoperative swelling and pain of anterior cruciate ligament surgery Methods:The study subjects were treated in the Department of Sports Medicine,Fuzhou Second Hospital affiliated to Xiamen University,from February 2022 to December 2022.Sixty patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into the control group and the test group,each with 30 patients.The doctors in the same treatment group performed anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction surgery in the same way.The control group received routine treatment after surgery.The test group took Shujin Huoxue Decoction orally on the basis of the treatment in the control group for a total of 14 days.The limb circumference,pain,knee joint activity,curative effect of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome and Lysholm score of the two groups of patients were recorded on the first day before treatment,the seventh day and the 14 th day after operation,and were statistically analyzed with SPSS23.0.Results:1.Preoperative evaluation: There was no significant difference between the two groups in gender,age,injured side,operation time,preoperative VAS score,limb circumference,Lysholm score,and knee motion(P>0.05).2.Swelling degree: The swelling degree of the affected limbs in both groups improved after treatment(P<0.05).The test group was better than the control group in improving the swelling degree(P<0.05).3.VAS score: The pain of patients in the two groups was relieved after treatment(P<0.05).The test group was better than the control group in alleviating pain(P<0.05).4.Knee range of motion(ROM): After treatment,the range of motion of knee joint in both groups was improved(P<0.05).The test group was better than the control group in improving the range of motion of knee joint(P<0.05).5.Lysholm score: Lysholm scores of patients in both groups were improved after treatment(P<0.05).The functional recovery of the test group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).6.Evaluation of curative effect of traditional Chinese medicine syndromes: The total effective rate of treatment in the test group was 90.00%,while that in the control group was83.33%.The efficacy of the test group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Shujin Huoxue Decoction can improve the swelling and pain of the affected limb after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction,and further promote the functional recovery of the knee joint of the affected limb.
