Objective:To provide a reference for the clinical treatment of wind-cold and damp type cervical spondylosis by clinical observation and evaluation of adding and subtracting Juanbi decoction in the treatment of wind-cold and damp type cervical spondylosis. The patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into control group and experimental group by random number table. Methods:Seventy patients who met inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria were selected from the outpatient Department of Orthopaedics Department of Zhangzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated to Fujian University of Chinese Medicine from January 2022 to October 2022.The patients who met inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria were randomly divided into control group and experimental group by random number table. The control group(n=35)was treated with head and neck traction combined with celecoxib, and the experimental group(n=35)was treated with head and neck traction combined with crecoxib plus adding and subtracting Juanbi decoction. Both groups were treated for 2 weeks. The Numerical Rating Scale(NRS)and Neck Disability Index(NDI)were recorded before treatment,1 week after treatment and 2 weeks after treatment.Traditional Chinese Medicine symptom score and the clinical efficacy after 2 weeks of treatment, recurrence rate 2 months after treatment. The data were collected and statistically analyzed by SPSS 23.0 statistics software.Results:1.There was no significant difference in age, gender and course of disease between the two groups(P>0.05),indicating that the two groups were comparable.2.There was no significant difference in NRS scores between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).NRS scores after 1 week and 2 weeks of treatment were compared between the two groups, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).NRS scores were compared between the two groups after 1 week and 2 weeks of treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.There was no significant difference in NDI scores between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).The NDI score of the two groups after 1 week and 2 weeks of treatment was compared within the group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).NDI scores were compared between the two groups after 1 week and 2 weeks of treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.There was no significant difference in Traditional Chinese Medicine symptom scores between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).The Traditional Chinese Medicine symptom scores of the two groups after 1 week and 2 weeks of treatment were compared within the two groups, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The scores of Traditional Chinese Medicine symptoms after 1 week and 2 weeks of treatment were compared between the two groups, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).5.Clinical efficacy:control group:1 case of clinical recovery(2.94%),7 cases of clinical effect(20.59%),18 cases of clinical effective(52.94%),8 cases of clinical ineffective(23.53%),the total effective rate of 76.47%;In the experimental group,3 cases were cured clinically(8.82%),15 cases were clinically effective(44.12%),14 cases were clinically effective(41.17%),and 2 cases were clinically ineffective(5.88%).The total effective rate was94.12%.The total effective rate of experimental group and control group was compared between groups, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).6.The short-term recurrence rate:2 months after treatment, there were 9 cases(26.47%)of recurrence in the control group and 2 cases(5.88%)in the experimental group. The recurrence rate between the experimental group and the control group was compared, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:Adding and subtracting Juanbi decoction in the treatment of wind-cold and damp type cervical spondylosis can safely and effectively relieve neck pain symptoms, improve neck dysfunction, improve the quality of daily life of patients, and reduce the short-term recurrence rate.It is more effective than simple head and neck traction combined with oral celecoxib drug treatment, which provides reference for clinical treatment of wind-cold-damp type cervical spondylosis.
