| Objective:To investigate the socio-demographic data, clinical examination, depression and visual related quality of life of glaucoma patients;to analyze the factors affecting visual related quality of life in glaucoma patients; To explore the internal relationship between depression and visual-related quality of life in glaucoma patients. Methods:This study was a cross-sectional study, including glaucoma patients diagnosed in Shenyang Aier Eye Hospital from October 2021 to September 2022,using the health questionnaire of visual dysfunction population, including the general condition questionnaire, clinical examination, depression self-rating scale(SDS),and the visual function questionnaire of the National Institute of Ophthalmology(NEI-VFQ-25).The data were analyzed using the statistical software SPSS19.0 and AMOS24.0,stratified multiple stepwise linear regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of visual related quality in glaucoma patients, and structural equation model was used to analyze the pathway relationship between depression and visual related quality. Results:The average score of visual-related quality of life of glaucoma patients was(70.12±11.90);The mean score of the SDS scale was(38.27±10.98),The incidence of depression was 15.87%;Stratified multiple stepwise linear regression analysis showed that psychological indicators were the dominant factors(R~2=25.1%),followed by clinical indicators(R~2=12.9%)and socio-demographic factors(R~2=11.3%),The psychological index depression is an independent risk factor for visual-related quality of life in different glaucoma types; The structural equation model shows that,Somatic disorder(β=-3.23,P<0.05),psychological disorder of depression(β=-2.40,P<0.05)and psychomotor disorders(β=-10.27,P<0.01)is a negative prediction of visually related quality of life.According to the standardized pathway coefficient, psychomotor disorder(standardizedβ=-0.37)was the strongest predictor of visual-related quality of life, followed by psychological disorder of depression(standardizedβ=-0.28).Conclusion:The visual-related quality of life of glaucoma patients in Shenyang is at an medium level, and depression is the dominant factor affecting the visual-related quality of life. Moreover,in the pathway relationship between depression and visual-related quality of life, somatic disorders, depressive psychological disorders and psychomotor disorder had a negative effect on QOL,among which psychomotor disorders had the strongest effect.Glaucoma treatment is a complex process, which requires multidisciplinary cooperation. When implementing comprehensive intervention and protection measures for glaucoma patients, medical staff should not only pay attention to the condition, but also pay attention to the mental health of patients,so as to reduce the occurrence of negative emotions such as depression,so as to improve the visual-related quality of life of patients. |
