Objective: To reveal the relationship between OPRM1 gene polymorphism and remifentanil demand in different populations in Xinjiang; Methods: From October 2021 to March 2022,99 patients, including 53 males,46 females,57 Han Chinese, and 42 Uyghur patients, who were originally from the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region and underwent elective abdominal surgery, were monitored for gene polymorphisms at the three SNP loci on OPRM1(rs1799971,rs562859,and rs563649),and their requirements for remifentanil and sufentanil Comparison of 24 h VAS,48 h VAS scores, nausea and vomiting, and the number of times additional analgesics were needed after surgery;Compare the demands of remifentanil and sufentanil during surgery,VAS scores at 4h,24 h,and 48 h after surgery, nausea and vomiting, and the number of times additional analgesics are needed after surgery between the two ethnic groups;MRNA expression on OPRM1 was performed in patients from two ethnic groups. Results : There were no significant differences between the polymorphisms of the three SNP loci on OPRM1(rs1799971,rs562859,rs563649)and the requirements for remifentanil and sufentanil, the visual analogue pain score(VAS)at 4,24,and 48 hours after surgery, and the incidence of postoperative nausea and vomiting; The expression of genotype rs1799971A>G,rs562859T>C was significantly different between men and women(p<0.05);The remifentanil requirement(ug/kg)was significantly different between men and women(p<0.05);There were no significant differences in the demands for remifentanil and sufentanil, postoperative VAS scores, and the incidence of adverse reactions between Uyghur and Han patients; The m RNA level of OPRM1 in Uyghur and Han patients was analyzed, and the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05);The m RNA expression level of OPRM1 in Han patients is higher than that in Uighur patients. Conclusion: In this study, the mutation of rs1799971A>G polymorphism in male patients is higher than that in female patients, and the perioperative(ug/kg)remifentanil requirement of male patients is higher than that of female patients.
