Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of modified Persicae Semen Carthami Flos decoction in the treatment of type ⅢB prostatitis(Qi stagnation and blood stasis combined with kidney Yang deficiency syndrome),and to provide theoretical basis and data support for the clinical treatment of the disease. Methods: Sixty-six patients with type ⅢB prostatitis(qi stagnation, blood stasis and kidney Yang deficiency syndrome)who met the diagnostic and inclusion criteria in the First Department of Surgery of the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from December 2021 to January 2023 were randomly divided into the treatment group(n = 33)and the control group(n = 33).The treatment group was given oral Persicae Semen Carthami Flos decoction, one dose a day,200 ml warm after breakfast and dinner, respectively. In the control group, tamsulosin hydrochloride sustained release capsule was given orally,0.2mg each time, once a day. Both groups were treated for 1 month. The changes of NIH-CPSI score,VAS pain score, lecitin body score and TCM syndrome score were observed and recorded before and after the treatment. After the treatment, the data were processed and analyzed by SPSS25.0 statistical software to evaluate the clinical efficacy of modified Tongren Safflower decoction in the treatment of type ⅢB prostatitis(qi stagnation and blood stasis and kidney Yang deficiency syndrome).Results:(1)A total of 66 patients were included in this study,1 case dropped out of the treatment group and 2 cases dropped out of the control group, with a total dropout rate of 4.54%.There was no significant difference in the scores between the treatment group and the control group before treatment(P> 0.05),which was comparable.(2)After 1 month of treatment, the clinical efficacy rate of the treatment group was 78.12%,and that of the control group was 67.74%,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05),and the clinical efficacy of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.(3)There were significant differences in NIH-CPSI symptom score,TCM syndrome score,VAS visual pain score and lecithin body score between the two groups before and after treatment(P < 0.05),and the scores were improved. There were significant differences in the scores between the treatment group and the control group after treatment(P < 0.05),and the improvement degree of each index in the treatment group was better than that in the control group.(4)The comparison of individual TCM scores showed that the treatment group and the control group had statistically significant differences in the scores of pain and discomfort in the pelvic area, frequent urination, urgency, dribbler after urination, white urethral mouth, waist and knee soreness, cold and cold limbs after treatment(P < 0.05),and the improvement of symptoms in the treatment group was better than that in the control group.Conclusions:1.Both the modified Persicae Semen Carthami Flos decoction and tamsulosin hydrochloride sustained-release capsules can effectively improve the symptoms of prostate pain, urination symptoms and quality of life in patients with type ⅢB prostatitis(qi stagnation and blood stasis and kidney Yang deficiency syndrome).2.Persicae Semen Carthami Flos decoction is more effective than tamsulosin hydrochloride sustained release capsule in improving the clinical symptoms of type ⅢB prostatitis(qi stagnation and blood stasis and kidney Yang deficiency syndrome). |
