Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Tiaoshen Xifeng Tongluo acupuncture manipulation combined with long-stay needles in the treatment of migraine with hyperactivity of liver-yang,and to provide an optimized method for the acupuncture treatment of migraine. Methods: 60 patients with migraine with hyperactivity of liver-yang were randomly divided into two groups, treatment group(n=30)and control group(n=30).The treatment group adopted the acupuncture method of Tiaoshen Xifeng Tongluo acupuncture combined with long-stay needles, selecting acupoints: Baihui,Shenting, left and right Shencong,Yintang,Taiyang(double),Touwei(double),Shenmen(double),Neiguan(double),Fengchi(double),Taichong(double),retaining needles for 90 minutes. The control group was treated with routine acupuncture, selecting acupoints:Shuaigu(double),Fengchi(double),Taiyang(double),Waiguan(double),Zu Linqi(double),Taichong(double),Xiaxi(double),Sanyinjiao(double),Ashi, retaining needles for 30 minutes.Patients in both groups were treated once a day, rest for 1 day after continuous treatment for 6 days,7 days as a course of treatment, and the efficacy was evaluated after 4 courses of acupuncture. The visual analogue scale(VAS),headache comprehensive scores,SAS anxiety self-rating scale and TCM syndrome scores of the two groups before and after treatment were compared to evaluate the clinical efficacy. All the data obtained in the study were statistically analyzed by SPSS25.0 software.Results:1.There was no statistical difference in baseline data and observed indexes between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),and the two groups were comparable.2.There were statistically significant differences in VAS scores, headache comprehensive scores,SAS standard scores and TCM syndrome scores between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.05).3.Intra-group comparison of VAS scores, headache comprehensive scores,SAS standard scores and TCM syndrome scores of the two groups after treatment decreased significantly, especially in the treatment group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.Each factor of headache comprehensive scores was compared between the two groups,in which the frequency, degree and duration of headache were all P<0.05,and the differences were statistically significant. While there was no statistically significant difference in accompanying symptoms, with P>0.05.5.Comparing the clinical efficacy of the two groups, the total effective rate of the treatment group was 93.10%,while that of the control group was82.76%(P<0.05).The difference was statistically significant.Conclusion:1.Both Tiaoshen Xifeng Tongluo acupuncture manipulation combined with long-stay needles and routine acupuncture method can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of migraine with hyperactivity of liver-yang,and the clinical effect of Tiaoshen Xifeng Tongluo acupuncture manipulation is better in reducing the degree, frequency and duration of headache.2.Tiaoshen Xifeng Tongluo acupuncture manipulation combined with long-stay needles can significantly improve the state of anxiety of migraine patients with hyperactivity of liver-yang,which is obviously better than that of routine acupuncture method.3.The clinical efficacy of Tiaoshen Xifeng Tongluo acupuncture manipulation combined with long-stay needles in the treatment of migraine with hyperactivity of liver-yang is better than that of routine acupuncture method.
