Objective:By comparing the clinical efficacy of shallow acupuncture combined with saosan manipulation and oral flunarizine hydrochloride capsules in the treatment of liver-yang hyperactivity-type migraine without aura and its effect on cerebral blood flow velocity,it provides a certain reference for the clinical treatment of this disease. Methods:A total of 72 migraine patients with hyperactivity of liver yang who met the research criteria of this subject were selected and randomly divided into test group and control group, each with 36 people. The test group was treated with shallow acupuncture combined with saosan manipulation. The bile meridian was taken from the side of the affected head by the saosan manipulation. The selected points for shallow acupuncture were baihui, fengchi, taichong, taixi, shangen and ashi. All were treated once a day with 1 day off each week for a total of 4weeks of treatment;the control group received oral flunarizine hydrochloride capsules 5 mg every night before going to bed for a total of 4 weeks of treatment. The changes of VAS score, headache symptom score,TCM syndrome score and transcranial doppler(TCD)test indicators before and after treatment were observed.Telephone follow-up was conducted 4weeks after the treatment, and the clinical efficacy of the two groups was evaluated. All data statistical analysis are processed with SPSS22.0 software.Results:1.Before treatment, there were no statistically significant differences between the two groups in terms of VAS scores, headache symptom scores and total scores,TCM syndrome scores, and TCD detection indicators(P>0.05),and they were comparable.2.VAS score: after the first treatment, the two groups can reduce the VAS score(P<0.01);comparison between the groups, the test group is better than the control group in reducing the VAS score(P<0.05).After the course of treatment, the two groups can reduce the VAS score(P<0.01);comparison between the groups, the test group is better than the control group in reducing the VAS score(P<0.05).3.Headache symptom score: compared within the group, the two groups can reduce the various scores of headache symptoms and the total score(P<0.01);comparison between the groups, the test group is better than the control group in improving the severity and duration of the attack(P<0.05),it has the same effect as the control group in reducing the number of attacks and accompanying symptoms(P>0.05),and the test group is better than the control group in reducing the total score of headache symptoms(P<0.05).4.TCM syndrome score: within the group, the two groups can reduce the TCM syndrome score(P<0.01);comparison between the groups, the test group is better than the control group in reducing the TCM syndrome score(P<0.05).5.TCD detection indicators: compared within the group, the two groups can reduce the average blood flow velocity of the intracranial arteries(P<0.05);comparison between the groups, the test group is reducing the average blood flow velocity of ACA,MCA,PCA and BA is better than that of the control group(P<0.05),and the effect of reducing the average blood flow velocity of VA is equivalent to that of the control group(P>0.05).6.Follow-up: compared with before treatment, both groups can reduce the VAS score(P<0.01);comparison between the groups, the test group is better than the control group in reducing the VAS score(P<0.05).7.Clinical efficacy: the total effective rate of the test group was 90.91%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 82.35%.The comparison of the clinical efficacy between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Both treatment methods can effectively relieve the degree of headaches, but shallow acupuncture combined with saosan manipulation can relieve pain more quickly and lastingly.2.Shallow acupuncture combined with saosan manipulation is superior to oral flunarizine hydrochloride capsules in reducing cerebral blood flow velocity in migraine patients.3.Shallow acupuncture combined with saosan manipulation and oral flunarizine hydrochloride capsules in the treatment of liver-yang hyperactivity-type migraine without aura can improve the patient’s overall onset symptoms and TCM symptoms and signs, but the overall effect of shallow acupuncture combined with saosan manipulation is better than oral Western medicine is worthy of promotion and application.
