Clinical Observation Of Tongyang Huashi Decoction In Treating Hyperuricemia With Deficiency Of Yang And Internal Dampness Syndrome

(1)Objective: To observe the efficacy and safety of Tongyang Huashi decoction on hyperuricemia(HUA)with deficiency of yang and internal dampness syndrome.Methods:Seventy patients with HUA who met the inclusion and discharge criteria were selected and divided into the treatment and the control group according to the random envelope method,with 35 patients in each group.The treatment group was treated with basic treatment with Benzbromarone Tablets and Tongyang Huashi decoction,while the control group was treated with basic treatment and Benzbromarone Tablets.After four weeks of treatment,serum uric acid(SUA),the TCM symptom scores,total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),body mass index(BMI),liver function and kidney function of HUA patients in the two groups were compared.Results:(1)The intra-group comparison of SUA before and after treatment showed statistical difference.The results of uric acid reduction showed that the total effective rate of the treatment group was 94.29%,which was higher than that of the control group(82.86%)(P>0.05).(2)The differences in TCM symptom scores before and after treatment were statistically significant in both groups.The inter-group comparison of the differences before and after treatment showed that among the seven single symptom scores,four single symptom scores in the treatment group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).(3)The results of traditional Chinese medicine showed that the total effective rate of the treatment group was 88.57%,which was higher than that of the control group(68.57%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(4)The intra-group comparison of TC and TG in the treatment group.The inter-group comparison of the difference before and after treatment in the two groups showed that the difference in the treatment group was better than that in the control group with statistical significance(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in BMI between the two groups after treatment(P>0.05).(5)The liver and kidney functions of HUA patients in the two groups were normal before and after treatment,and there was no adverse reaction.Conclusions: Tongyang Huashi Decoction can effectively reduce the SUA,TC and TG of HUA patients with deficiency of yang and internal dampness syndrome,and significantly improve the symptoms of fatigue and sluggish,soreness and weakness of waist and knees,and limb drowsiness.Tongyang Huashi Decoction combined with Benzbromarone Tablets is superior to western medicine alone in treating hyperuricemia with deficiency of yang and dampness syndrome,and without adverse reaction.
