Objective:1.Using KAP as the theoretical framework, the illness perception questionnaire of stroke patients was prepared and tested, providing a scientific assessment tool for clinical assessment of the illness perception status of stroke patients.2.The newly developed illness perception questionnaire of stroke patients was adopted to investigate the current level of knowledge, belief and practice of illness perception of stroke patients and explore its influencing factors.Methods:1.With KAP as the theoretical framework, the initial version of the questionnaire was prepared by literature review,semi-structured interview, two rounds of expert letter consultation and pre-survey.A total of 260 stroke patients treated in a Grade III hospital in Bengbu City from June to August 2022 are selected by convenience sampling method.Critical ratio method and correlation coefficient method were used for project analysis.Cronbach’sαcoefficient, half coefficient and retest reliability were analyzed to evaluate the reliability of the questionnaire.Questionnaire content validity and exploratory factor analysis were analyzed to evaluate questionnaire validity.Data of 200 stroke patients treated in the stroke ward were collected for confirmatory factor analysis to form the final version of the questionnaire.2.Convenience sampling method is adopted to select 477 stroke patients from stroke ward of a third-class A hospital in Bengbu City from September 2022 to January 2023.The newly compiled general data Questionnaire for Stroke patients and Disease Cognition Questionnaire for Stroke Patients are used for investigation, and the data are sorted out and statistically analyzed.Results:1.In this study,15 experts were invited to conduct two rounds of expert letter consultation. The questionnaire recovery rates of the two rounds of expert letter consultation were 95%and 100%,the expert authority coefficients were 0.917 and0.924,and the CV of each entry was 0.00~0.19.Kendall′s W of each dimension were0.259,0.215,0.178 and 0.201,respectively,which were statistically significant(P<0.01).2.Cronbach’sαcoefficient of the questionnaire was 0.978,the half-point reliability was0.785,and the retest reliability was 0.960.The S-CVI at the questionnaire level was0.87,and the I-CVI at each item level was 0.80~1.00.KMO value was 0.960,Bartlett’s spherical testχ~2 value was 17239.245(P<0.01),three common factors were extracted, and the cumulative variance contribution rate was 78.748%;The standardized load values ranged from 0.820 to 0.943(P<0.01),theχ~2/(9(91)1)value of 2.457,the RMSEA value is 0.086,the RMR value of 0.035,the basic standard fitting index, the AVE value more than 0.50,The CR value was above 0.70,and the correlation coefficients between the two dimensions were all less than the square root of the AVE value corresponding to each dimension,so the convergence validity and discrimination validity were good.3.The newly compiled questionnaire contains 45 items in 3 dimensions. The analysis results showed that the questionnaire knowledge dimension was(38.29±14.02)points,and the passing rate was 40.67%.Belief dimension was(36.00±7.05)points,passing rate was 90.36%;The behavioral dimension was(49.55±12.11)points,and the passing rate was 74.63%;The total score of the questionnaire was(123.83±28.22),and the passing rate was 71.70%;The score of knowledge dimension is at a low level, and the score of belief and behavior dimension is significantly higher than that of knowledge dimension. There was a positive correlation among knowledge, belief and behavior(P<0.01).4.The results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that the factors affecting the score of the cognitive knowledge dimension of stroke patients were the level of education, marital status, per capita monthly family income, previous stroke history, the number of stroke attacks, the number of chronic diseases and the source of health information. The factors affecting the score of the cognitive belief dimension of stroke patients were age, educational level, marital status, per capita monthly family income, treatment measures, discharge situation, discharge m RS Score, discharge NIHSS score and health information sources. The factors affecting the cognitive behavioral dimension score of stroke patients were age, education level, per capita monthly family income, treatment measures, discharge status, discharge NIHSS score and health information sources.Conclusions:1.The Illness Perception Questionnaire for Stroke Patients compiled in this study has good reliability and validity, providing a scientific assessment tool for clinical assessment of the illness perception status of stroke patients.2.The analysis of the current situation found that the patients with stroke have relatively insufficient cognitive knowledge of the disease, but their beliefs are positive and their behaviors need to be strengthened; There is a positive correlation among knowledge, belief and behavior;Patients’age, educational level, marital status, monthly income per capita in the family, previous stroke history, duration of illness, type of chronic disease, health information sources, treatment measures, discharge condition, discharge m RS Score, discharge NIHSS score and health information sources were the factors influencing the scores of the cognitive knowledge, beliefs and behavioral dimensions of stroke patients.
