Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Xinjia Changyuning Decoction on ulcerative colitis(large intestine damp-heat syndrome)based on "Xuanfu theory",and to provide a new way of thinking for the treatment of ulcerative colitis with traditional Chinese medicine.Method:According to random number table method, sixty patients with ulcerative colitis(large intestine damp-heat syndrome)who met the inclusion criteria of this subject were divided into control group and treatment group, with 30 cases in each group. The control group was given mesalazine enteric-coated tablets orally, and the treatment group was given Xin Jia Chang Yu Ning decoction on the basis of the control group. The course of treatment was 8 weeks. After treatment,TCM syndrome scores, modified Mayo activity index score,Baron endoscopy score,CRP and quality of life score was recorded at the beginning and the end of treatment in the two groups, and safety indexes and adverse reactions were observed.SPSS26.0 statistical software was used to analyze the data and evaluate the clinical effect.Results:1.Comparison of baseline data:Before treatment, there were no st atistically significant differences between the two groups in gender,ag e,course of disease, degree of disease, lesion range, single score of T CM syndrome, total score of TCM syndrome, modified Mayo activity in dex score,Baron endoscopy score,CRP value and quality of life score(P>0.05),indicating comparability.2.Comparison of TCM syndrome scores:After treatment, individual TCM syndrome scores and total TCM syndrome scores of the two grou ps were decreased compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and t he treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.05).3.Comparison of the curative effect of TCM syndrome:After treat ment, the total effective rate of the treatment group was 89.29%,and t hat of the control group was 78.57%.The effective rate of the treatme nt group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).4.Comparison of improved Mayo scores:After treatment,Mayo sc ores in both groups was lower than before treatment(P<0.05),and the treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.05).5.Comparison of Baron endoscopy scores:After treatment,Baron e ndoscopy scores of the two groups were decreased compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.05).6.Comparison of CRP values:After treatment,CRP values in both groups decreased compared with before treatment(P<0.05);The treatme nt group was better than the control group(P<0.05).7.Comparison of quality of life score:After treatment, quality of life score of the two groups was improved compared with before treatm ent(P<0.05),and the treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Xinjia Changyuning Decoction combined with mesalazine entericcoated tablets can improve the TCM syndromes of patients with ulcerati ve colitis(large intestine damp-heat syndrome),and the efficacy isbette r than mesalazine enteric-coated tablets alone.2.Xinjia Changyuning Decoction combined with mesalazine entericcoated tablets can improve the disease activity index, mucosal endoscop ic performance,CRP level and quality of life in patients with ulcerativ e colitis(large intestine damp-heat syndrome),and the efficacy is bette r than mesalazine enteric-coated tablets alone.3.Based on the "Xuanfu theory",the application of Xinjia Changy uning Decoction in the treatment of ulcerative colitis(large intestine da mp-heat syndrome)has a certain effect.
