ObjectivesThe purpose of this study was to establish a scientific and standardized training program for neurosurgery nurses on the basis of understanding the knowledge, attitude, practice and influencing factors of hypostatic pneumonia among neurosurgery nurses, and to provide a more complete training basis for the nursing of clinical neurosurgery patients with hypostatic pneumonia by means of literature review,semi-structured interview and expert correspondence consultation.Methods1.Survey of neurosurgical nurses’ knowledge, attitudes and practices about hypostatic pneumonia: A questionnaire was used to investigate the current situation of neurosurgical nurses’ knowledge, attitudes and practices about hypostatic pneumonia in 12 hospitals in 10 provinces/municipalities directly under the central government using a self-designed questionnaire on the current situation of hypostatic pneumonia.2.Construction of a training program for neurosurgical nurses on hypostatic pneumonia care: First of all, through literature research and semi-structured interviews, the contents of the literature related to the construction of this training program were combined with the training items extracted from the interviews, and the initial training program for neurosurgical nurses on hypostatic pneumonia care was formed after discussion by the group on the basis of the results of the previous knowledge, attitude and practice questionnaire. Then, the training program for neurosurgical nurses with hypostatic pneumonia was rated and evaluated using the Delphi method, and finally a training program for neurosurgical nurses with hypostatic pneumonia was formed to suit the actual clinical situation.Results1.Investigation on the knowledge, belief and practice of hypostatic pneumonia among nursing staff of neurosurgery: 346 questionnaires were collected,96.0% of the nurses thought it was necessary to carry out training related to hypostatic pneumonia for neurosurgical nurses. The average score of 346 neurosurgery nurses was 76.94±6.87;the average score of knowledge dimension was 12.06±1.56;the average score of belief dimension was 21.63±3.10;the average score of behavioral dimension was 43.25±4.62.(1)Univariate analysis showed that knowledge scores of hypostatic pneumonia were different among neurosurgical nurses at levels(N0-N4)and working years(P<0.05);the belief scores of neurosurgical nurses with different titles, levels, whether they were members of the hospital feeling group and whether they had learned knowledge related to hypostatic pneumonia were different(P<0.05);neurosurgical nurses grouped according to age, level, nursing years, years of working in neurosurgery, whether they were members of the hospital sensitivity group and whether they had learned knowledge related to hypostatic pneumonia had different behavioral scores(P<0.05).(2)The results of multi-factor analysis showed that:Hierarchy(P<0.05)was the influencing factor of knowledge score and belief score of neurosurgical nurses with hypostatic pneumonia;Have you studied the related knowledge of hypostatic pneumonia and age(P<0.05)were the influencing factors of behavioral score of neurosurgical nurses with hypostatic pneumonia.(3)Pearson correlation analysis showed that knowledge, belief and behavior were positively correlated(P<0.05).2.Construction of training program for neurosurgical nursing staff with hypostatic pneumonia:(1)Literature review: 31 studies were finally included,of which 20 were related to training content,8 were related to training duration, teachers and training forms, and 3 were related to training assessment content.(2)Semi-structured interview: After semi-structured interview with 10 neurosurgery nurses and 3 nursing experts, the interview data were sorted out and analyzed, and the themes were extracted.Based on the results of the previous knowledge attitude and practice questionnaire,an initial training program for neurosurgery nurses with hypostatic pneumonia was formed after discussion by the research group, including 4 first-level items,15 second-level items and 76 third-level items.(3)Delphi expert correspondence consultation: After two rounds of Delphi expert correspondence consultation, the training program for neurosurgery nurses with hypostatic pneumonia was finally formed, including 4 first-level items,15second-level items and 81 third-level items. The results of expert letter consultation are as follows: the positive coefficient of experts in the two rounds of letter consultation is 100%;the expert authority coefficients were 0.967 and 0.947 respectively. After two rounds of correspondence, the final coefficient of variation of the importance of each item ranges from 0 to 0.257,and Kendall’s coordination coefficient is 0.194.Conclusion1.At present, the distribution of knowledge, belief and practice of Chinese neurosurgical nurses with hypostatic pneumonia is not balanced, and the results of questionnaire survey show that there is a great demand for relevant training. In the future, hospital managers should strengthen the systematic training related to the nursing of neurosurgical nurses with hypostatic pneumonia,so as to improve the nursing quality of neurosurgical nurses for patients with hypostatic pneumonia. To improve the prognosis and quality of life of patients with neurosurgical hypostatic pneumonia.2.The final construction of the training program for neurosurgery nurses with hypostatic pneumonia included 81 items in 4 dimensions. The training program is scientific, systematic, standardized in structure and relatively comprehensive in content, aiming at providing scientific basis for the training of Chinese neurosurgical nursing staff of hypostatic pneumonia and improving their specialized nursing ability of hypostatic pneumonia.
