| ObjectivesTo investigate the stress-related growth status of nursing undergraduate interns; To analyze the influencing factors of stress-related growth of nursing undergraduate interns;Structural equation model was used to explore the size of action path and potential interaction mechanism of stress-related growth factors.MethodsBy convenience sampling method,1129 undergraduate nursing interns who completed clinical practice in three Grade A hospitals in Hefei City were selected as subjects for questionnaire survey. The questionnaires included general data Questionnaire,Stress source questionnaire, social support questionnaire,Stress Appraisal Measure(SAM),Simplified Coping Style Questionnaire(SCSQ),10-item Connor Davidson Resilience Scale(CD-RISC-10)and the Chinese version of the Stress-Related Growth Scale: Short Form(SRGS-SF).The frequency and component ratio were used to describe the general information of nursing undergraduates, and the mean and standard deviation were used to describe the social support, pressure, resilience, cognitive appraisal, coping style and stress-related growth status of nursing undergraduates.Independent sample t-test and ANOVA test were used to analyze the differences in general demographic data of stress-related growth of nursing undergraduates.Pearson correlation analysis was conducted to analyze the correlation between the two variables of stress-related growth, social support, pressure, resilience, coping style and cognitive appraisal.Based on the general systems theory and stress process model,AMOS 24.0 was used to construct a model of factors affecting the stress-related growth of undergraduate nursing interns.Results1.The total score of stress-related growth of undergraduate nursing interns was20.68±6.87,among which the score of interpersonal growth dimension was 11.02±3.78 and the score of intrinsic growth dimension was 9.66±3.24.2.There were statistically significant differences in the stress-related growth levels of nursing undergraduate interns with different genders, whether they were the only child, whether they served as class leaders, places of origin, personality characteristics and nursing intention(P<0.05).3.The stress-related growth score and interpersonal growth dimension, internal growth dimension and internship stress score and job nature dimension, workload dimension, internship preparation dimension, interpersonal relationship dimension, job support dimension, learning and job conflict dimension were significantly negatively correlated(P< 0.05).The correlation coefficient is r=-0.086~-0.330.4.The stress-related growth score, interpersonal growth dimension, internal growth dimension and social support score, family support dimension, friend support dimension and other support dimensions were significantly positively correlated(P<0.05),and the correlation coefficient was r=0.428~0.509.5.The total score of stress-related growth, interpersonal growth dimension and internal growth dimension were significantly positively correlated with the total score of cognitive appraisal of undergraduate nursing interns(P < 0.05,r= 0.292-0.301).In cognitive appraisal, the threat dimension, uncontrollable dimension and the total score of stress-related growth, interpersonal growth dimension and internal growth dimension were significantly negatively correlated(P<0.05,-0.168~-0.369).In cognitive appraisal, the dimensions of challenge,interest,self-control and other-control were significantly positively correlated with the total score of stress-related growth, interpersonal growth and internal growth(P<0.05,r=0.220~0.296).6.The stress-related growth score, interpersonal growth dimension, internal growth dimension and coping style score of undergraduate nursing interns were significantly positively correlated(P<0.05,r=0.573~0.589).The positive coping style was significantly positively correlated with the total score of stress-related growth, interpersonal growth and internal growth(P<0.05,r=0.632~0.647).The dimensions of negative coping style were significantly negatively correlated with the total score of stress-related growth, interpersonal growth and internal growth(P<0.05,r=-0.202~-0.219).7.The total stress-related growth score, interpersonal growth dimension, internal growth dimension and resilience score of nursing undergraduate interns were significantly positively correlated(P<0.05),and the correlation coefficient was r=0.494~0.524.8.Taking pressure as independent variable, social support, cognitive appraisal, coping style and resilience as mediating variable, and stress-related growth as dependent variable, construct a structural equation model of influencing factors of stress-related growth of nursing undergraduate interns. After modifying the model according to the correction index, the final fitness indexes of the model are as follows: GFI=0.908,AGFI=0.903,RMSEA=0.061,NFI=0.935,TLI=0.937,IFI=0.944,CFI=0.946.All the fit indexes were in line with the model judgment criteria, and the model had a good fit.Can better reflect the relationship between the variables of the factors affecting the stress-related growth of nursing undergraduate interns.Conclusion1.The stress-related growth of undergraduate nursing interns is at an above average level;2.Gender,personality characteristics, origin of students, whether they are the only child, whether they serve as class leader, and nursing intention are the factors affecting the stress-related growth of nursing undergraduate interns;3.The stress-related growth of nursing undergraduates is significantly positively correlated with social support, coping style, cognitive appraisal and resilience, and significantly negatively correlated with pressure;4.Social support, coping style and resilience have direct effects on the stress-related growth of nursing undergraduates, while stress and cognitive appraisal have indirect effects on the stress-related growth; In addition, stress can indirectly affect the stress-related growth through the intermediate variables of social support, coping style, cognitive appraisal and resilience.Social support can indirectly affect stress-related growth through the mediating variables of coping style, cognitive appraisal and resilience, while cognitive appraisal can indirectly affect stress-related growth through coping style. |
