Clinical Observation On The Therapeutic Effect Of Yiqi Huoxue Acupuncture On Peripheral Facial Paralysis Of Qi Deficiency And Blood Stasis Type

Objective: to observe the clinical effect of Yiqi huoxue acupuncture on peripheral facial paralysis of Qi deficiency and blood stasis type,and to provide a train of thought and a feasible method for clinic.Methods: 60 patients with peripheral facial paralysis were randomly divided into acupuncture group and Western medicine group before and after treatment for 6 weeks,s PSS21.0 software package was used for statistical analysis of House-brackmann rating scale score of facial nerve function,Portmann simple score score,FDIP score(FDIS score)score of facial disability index(FDI score),CMAP amplitude and BR latency measured by neuroelectromyography,to compare the effective rate of the two groups,and to evaluate the clinical effect of Yiqi huoxue acupuncture on peripheral facial paralysis of Qi deficiency and blood stasis type.Results: before treatment,the general conditions of the patients in the acupuncture group and the Western medicine group were as follows: the scores of H-B facial nerve function rating scale,Portmann’s simple score,FDIP score and FDIS score,there was no significant difference in CMAP amplitude and BR latency between the two groups(P >0.05).The scores of H-B facial nerve function grading,Portmann score,FDIP score,FDIS score,CMAP amplitude of electromyogram and BR latency were compared within and between the two groups after 6 weeks of treatment,results there was significant difference between the two groups(p < 0.05).The improvement of facial paralysis in the acupuncture group was better than that in the Western medicine group.The total effective rate was 93.33% in the acupuncture group and 73.33% in the Western medicine group.There was a significant difference between the two groups(p < 0.05),the improvement of acupuncture group was better than that of Western medicine group.Conclusion: both the Acupuncture Group and the Western medicine group can improve the function of facial nerve,and the effect of the acupuncture group is more significant and can shorten the course of the disease,improve the cure rate of facial paralysis,clinical worth promoting.
