At the end of 2019,a sudden outbreak of COVID-19 caused a huge impact on people’s economic,social and spiritual life,which was a major public health emergency with the fastest spread,the widest scope of infection,and the greatest difficulty in prevention and control since the founding of New China.In order to better promote the prevention and control of the COVID-19,from radio and television to mobile Internet terminals,from mobile loudspeakers to propaganda slogans,all localities are actively using the role of existing information communication media to build a multimedia joint epidemic prevention and publicity pattern.Among them,by hanging epidemic prevention slogans,the epidemic prevention knowledge was publicized to thousands of households,which played a major role in the prevention and control of the epidemic.This paper focuses on the spread of outdoor slogans for the prevention and control of COVID-19,uses field investigation and network survey method to collect epidemic-related slogans,explores their transmission mode and transmission function,analyzes the factors affecting the transmission effect of outdoor slogans for the prevention and control of COVID-19,and puts forward relevant strategies to improve the communication effect of outdoor slogans against the epidemic.The main body of this paper is divided into five parts: the first chapter briefly describes the research background,organizes the relevant literature of slogan research at home and abroad,forms a literature review,and clarifies the methods,samples,objectives and significance of this research.Chapter 2 analyzes the transmission mode of outdoor slogans for the prevention and control of COVID-19,after a public emergency,outdoor slogans for epidemic prevention may exist in different transmission scenarios,thus forming its unique and systematic transmission mode,specifically on-site instant transmission mode,online social communication mode,and multiple transmission mode.Chapter 3 further analyzes the deep-seated functions of slogans on the basis of clarifying their communication patterns,namely the function of agenda setting,social governance and emotional facilitation.Chapter4 analyzes three important factors affecting the effectiveness of slogan communication: the creative performance of slogan text,the effect radiation of mainstream media network communication,and the media governance ability of grassroots governance subjects.Chapter 5 analyzes the existing problems related to outdoor slogans in the fight against the epidemic,and puts forward relevant strategic suggestions from the aspects of text expression,multimodal discourse system,and grassroots government media governance capabilities.Outdoor slogans have played an important role in the prevention and control of the new crown epidemic,and this paper studies the spread of outdoor slogans for the prevention and control of COVID-19,aiming to make outdoor slogans better participate in social governance and provide reference for the emergency communication of public emergencies in the future.
