Clinical Significance Of Detection Of Serum Inflammatory Factors In Patients With Preeclampsia

Purpose:To assess the correlation of serum C-reactive protein(CRP),procalcitonin(PCT)and serum amyloid A(SAA)with preeclampsia(PE)and thus explore whether the above inflammatory factors have predictive value for preeclampsia.Methods:A total of 640 pregnant women with preeclampsia who were admitted to the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Jiangxi Maternal and Child Health Hospital from January 2020 to January 2022 were selected as the experimental group(PE),650 pregnant women with gestational diabetes who were admitted to the Department of Obstetrics during the same period were selected as the experimental control group(GDM),and 736 normal pregnant women who were admitted to our hospital for physical examination during the same period were selected as the normal control group(NC).The levels of serum CRP,PCT and SAA in the three groups were detected,and the differences of serum CRP,PCT and SAA levels in the three groups were compared and analyzed.Results:1.The levels of CRP in preeclampsia group,gestational diabetes mellitus group and normal control group were 25.36(9.06,26.85)mg/L,6.95(3.35,9.35)mg/L,2.42(1.90,4.18)mg/L,respectively.PCT levels were 0.85(0.56,0.97)ng/L,0.33(0.11,0.41)ng/L,0.14(0.10,0.23)ng/L,respectively.The SAA levels were 11.10(10.20,14.40)mg/L,9.00(8.40,10.00)mg/L,5.20(4.80,5.90)mg/L,respectively.The levels of CRP,PCT and SAA in PE group were significantly higher than those in GDM group and NC group(P < 0.001).2.ROC curve analysis showed that the predictive value of each index in preeclampsia group was higher than that in gestational diabetes mellitus group.The area under the curve(AUC)values of CRP,PCT and SAA in predicting preeclampsia were 0.851,0.960 and 0.942,respectively.The sensitivity of PCT in predicting PE was the highest(93.6%),and the specificity of CRP and SAA in predicting PE was the highest(97.0%).3.Logistic regression combined with ROC curve analysis showed that the area under the curve(AUC)of CRP combined with PCT,CRP combined with SAA,PCT combined with SAA,CRP,PCT and SAA combined to predict preeclampsia were0.963,0.987,0.971 and 0.992,respectively,and the sensitivity of the three indicators combined to predict PE was the highest(98.0%),and the specificity was the highest(99.5%).Conclusion:CRP,PCT and SAA have a high correlation with preeclampsia,and have a good clinical reference value for the prediction of preeclampsia.The combined clinical predictive value of the three is higher.
