Objective:Colon cancer is a kind of malignant disease of digestive system with a high incidence rate and a very common clinical incidence. Its incidence rate is gradually increasing.Although its incidence rate is the fourth place of malignant tumors of the whole body, its clinical prevalence has increased to the third place of malignant tumors of the whole digestive system, with the highest incidence age of 41-65 years old[1].Its sex ratio is also showing a gradual increase in the proportion of women, and the incidence population is aging,Genetic factors and dietary factors are particularly prominent in the incidence of colon cancer.Colon cancer has a high incidence rate and mortality. In recent years, with the attention paid to life and health and the development of medical technology, the detection rate and cure rate of colon cancer have also increased.Among many medical technologies, the detection rate of CT plays an indispensable role in the diagnosis of colon cancer.CT technology is the imaging technology for the diagnosis of various diseases in modern clinical. In recent years, due to the rapid development of CT technology,CT has been widely used in the diagnosis of gastrointestinal diseases, and has achieved satisfactory results. The main purpose of this article is to study and analyze colon cancer through epidemiology, symptoms, examination, imaging manifestations, treatment and other aspects, and to analyze the diagnostic value of CT for intestinal obstruction caused by colon cancer and its guiding significance for preoperative selection of surgical plan. Methods:From January 2018 to November 2022,71 patients with suspected Bowel obstruction were admitted to the hospital. The names, gender, age,CT manifestations and diagnosis, surgical methods, postoperative pathological diagnosis and other information of all colon cancer patients were obtained through electronic medical records. All patients underwent CT examination before surgery and were given a preliminary diagnosis after being read by the imaging doctor. The pathological results of the final surgical treatment were taken as the gold standard, and the image diagnosis results were compared and analyzed The specific findings during the operation and the pathological results after the operation, the selection of preoperative operation methods and the specific operation methods were studied and analyzed. The application value of CT in the diagnosis of Bowel obstruction caused by colon cancer and the guiding significance for surgeons in the selection of operation methods were analyzed.Result:Compared with the gold standard, the sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value and negative predictive value of CT in diagnosing intestinal obstruction caused by colon cancer were 92.65%,33.33%,96.92%and 16.67%respectively;The diagnostic coincidence rate was 90.14%;When intestinal obstruction is caused by colon cancer, the CT imaging findings are divided into intestinal wall thickening, space occupying, intussusception and tumor. The results are statistically different from the postoperative pathological results(P<0.05);In the age group>65 years old, when CT was used to diagnose colon cancer, there was statistically significant difference in different imaging manifestations of the intestine in CT examination(P<0.05);The analysis results of cancer in left and right colon obstruction diagnosed by CT showed that the proportion of cancer in left colon obstruction was high(50.7%vs 49.3%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).According to the ROC curve analysis results,AUC=0.679,sensitivity 88.2%,specificity 66.7%for different manifestations of colon cancer in intestinal obstruction on CT;The negative and positive results of CT diagnosis of colon cancer AUC=0.630,sensitivity 92.6%,specificity 33.3%;AUC=0.632,sensitivity 72.1%,specificity 66.7%for CT diagnosis of colon cancer at different sites.Conclusion:1.As a routine examination method for preoperative diagnosis of Bowel obstruction caused by colon cancer,CT examination has certain significance for the diagnosis and treatment of colon cancer.2.The examination effect of CT on patients with Bowel obstruction caused by colon cancer≤65 years old is better than that of patients over 65 years old.In left and right colon cancer,CT performs better in detecting left colon cancer than right colon cancer.CT has certain reference value in the detection rate and effectiveness of colon cancer in different parts of the body.
