| In 2020,the new crown pneumonia epidemic sweeps the world and is defined as a public health emergency by the World Health Organization.For incidents involving people’s lives and health,mainstream media has formed a relatively mature and complete narrative production and dissemination model.During the COVID-19 outbreak,domestic mainstream media responded in a timely manner,organized quickly,gave full play to their advantages in human and material resources,and disseminated information on traditional media and social platforms to respond to concerns,and ensured the integrity and accuracy of information dissemination links in emergency situations.Among them,the "People’s Daily" Douyin used the form of short videos to release a large number of anti-epidemic short videos from multiple angles and around the clock,reporting the anti-epidemic situation in time,and achieved significant dissemination effects.This article takes the short video news works related to the epidemic released under the Douyin account of "People’s Daily" as the research sample object.From January 20,2020 to April 8,2020,438 short videos related to the epidemic are used as samples.Combining content analysis and case analysis to study the narrative strategies of mainstream media short video news.On the basis of sorting out the literature in the scope of anti-epidemic short videos and emotional narratives,and based on the dichotomy of story discourse in narratology theory,this paper constructs a category framework for the analysis of the emotional narrative content of mainstream media anti-epidemic short videos.In this way,we explore how the short video of anti-epidemic carries out emotional narrative,its strategies and its reasons.Finally,through research and analysis,the author concludes that the emotional narrative of domestic mainstream media anti-epidemic short videos mainly adopts three strategies:eliminating the distance from the audience through an internal focus perspective,triggering emotional resonance from ordinary people,and crafting the details of audio-visual language.Think to enhance emotional experience.Compared with other forms of news reports in domestic mainstream media,emotional narrative is the most significant feature of short video news.While amplifying the features,there will also be the problem of excessive sensationalization,which leads to the deviation of the audience’s attention,and a single editing template makes the content tend to be homogenized.Therefore,on the basis of ensuring the advantages of emotional narrative,mainstream media should also pay attention to grasp the sense of proportion,enhance the value identification and emotional belonging of the audience,improve the reporting mechanism of public health emergencies,establish a long-term emotional interaction mechanism,and play the role of mainstream media in guiding public opinion with emotional setting. |
